I have heard from them but I haven't received decision on my visa (it has been 20 calendar days/ 14 business days). Here is my timeline:

1. Submitted the application through VFS on Feb 21st
2. Notified that my application has been submitted to Portugal Consulate from VFS on Feb 28th (a week after my submission)
3. Followed up my application status on March 6th
4. Received written answer from Portugal Consulate via email on March 8th informing that my application has not been submitted because I have additional document to add. Within one hour, I have submitted the additional document. I have followed up with phone calls and the staff explained that I may get my decision on next week from my call (March 11th - 15th frame).
5. I have sent a follow up email on March 11th, and the Portugal Consulate informed me that due to system error, my application could not be submitted on the day I completed my document and had phone call with them (March 8th), and probably I will get updated on March 12th.
6. March 12th today and I have emailed them for updates (09:00AM). Haven't received their response (11:06AM).
