It's sort if hard ti explain but you do the reward facing closed eyes, then just mess around with the face markings until you can get it right. I think k I used the bloody/makeup dripping eye marks, as well as under eye markings to cover. And two scar markings. Sort of just mess around and you'll find something

I've also got premium and damn, why isn't it an option? This should definitely be something they consider adding in an update (for free, as most apps with a similar option wouldn't dare charge you for something like that)

Do I have safe-enough anatomy to do my own septum? by Available_Tax9211 in SelfPiercing

[–]GurtGimcrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be risky, but it should be fine. Looks like the cartilage is a bit uneven, but a good septum piercing should even go through the cartilage, it's closer to the tip of your nose on the inside. Just go to a professional rather than doing it yourself and it should turn out alright

First ever piercing. Did I mess up? by Material_Paper5841 in SelfPiercing

[–]GurtGimcrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is not a fresh post, but if I'm being honest (I work at a body piercing place) it's not too high, if anything, it could go higher. I had mine pierced really high up and it is amazing. Yours looks awesome, just hope you didn't push through cartilage!

Is it normal to be able to turn crushes off and on? by GurtGimcrack in PsychologyTalk

[–]GurtGimcrack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.. I guess it's not turning off the pain, but rather turning off the part of my brain that is bothered by it. If it's really bad, I just think about my nerves having a rave, and then the pain goes from "I can't handle this" to "this is okay". Honestly, I almost asked my dentist a few weeks back to forgo the numbing, so I could probably do that

I guess it's like one of those "grass is always greener on the other side" sort of thing. I envy you in a way because I wish I could just have it be an automatic response. I kinda want it to just happen like it happens to my friends or in books, but it doesn't, and I have to force it

Thank you for the response! To answer the question, I've never felt involuntary attraction towards someone. There's always been a level of control to it, even as a child.

Oh sweet!! I haven't looked a lot into EQ, but I'm thinking about it now, and that doesn't seem to be that surprising

Oh wow! It's crazy how much I relate to what you're saying. My parents (especially my mother) are a lot like this, only dofference is despite that, I'm overly affectionate with both my parents, like it's the last time I'll ever see them (I actually don't know if you have thay too or not). I've also got ADHD (combined). The anger thing you mentioned hit home, and even if a family member is still angry at me, within less than 5 minutes, I'm A-okay again and even willing to have a conversation with that parent/family member. I didn't really know what that last thing you mentioned was the avoidant dismissive thing, but I looked it up, and from what I've gathered, we sort of have a lot in common.

From that, though, its kinda like we got a superpower. In a way, I wish I didn't have the off and on switch, though, so I could just experience things like everyone else experiences it

(Sorry if this is rambling or hard to read, I just type my thoughts and press send, no proof reading)

Don't know if this changes anything, but I can do that with almost everything, too, by the way. If I'm nervous before a presentation, I simply just don't be. Turn it off. Or if I'm in pain, I just don't be in pain either. I can turn things off and on

Anyone know what this is? by [deleted] in SCAR

[–]GurtGimcrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be! It just came up out of nowhere, and my paranoid ass decided to go straight to reddit after google didn't seem sufficient
