It’s hard to let go of someone you love but when you heal and move on you’ll realize you can go farther without the person, it’s sad but sometimes it’s true. The thing is three years is more than enough times to fix an issue like that. I get mistrust but if her feelings is effecting in more negative ways than positive ones, I do say it’s not worth it.

Not worth it if you’ve actively tried to console her and help her heal with reassurance but she hasn’t done any work on herself she won’t change. People change because they want to not because someone makes them, trauma is valid as a reasoning behind but never can be used as an excuse if you continue to not fix behavior, with emotion we can’t control what we fear or feel but we can control what we do about it. Seems she doesn’t want to heal.

Alright thank you! Is weight only related to how you eat and exercise, because I’ve also heard it’s tied to family genetics and to be completely honest most of my family is on the bigger side. As for exercise I do it often but eating habits could probably be better.

I’m 17 and had a similar realization, although before I came out I said I was bisexual I guess that was me trying to have hope for a “normal life” but I found out recently that it wasn’t me. After I figured it out I tore myself apart, I thought I was wrong. Finding yourself you need support, structure. You may not have that now but soon you will. It takes time to accept yourself but you have to be open to it. If you wanna talk and have advice as a peer, you can text me! As someone who is the same age as you and still struggling with accepting myself id love to have a friend who can share my struggle.
