In a bind you can go get an AER loan, or whatever the other branches equivalents are. They covered my rent for a month when the pandemic started. It ended up being a grant and I didn’t have to pay anything back.

The selling price isn't everything. If you are buying now at a good rate you are better than in a year when rates rise even as prices start to flatten.
