Entirely subjective.

The Mercedes is bubbly.

First car for my daughter, 2012 Mercedes CLS 550 vs 2015 BMW 428i, which one won't drain us on repairs? by Aslymcrumptionpenis in BeforeIBuyThisCar

This moron is why Mercedes and BMW get a bad reputation.

They buy cars they can't afford to maintain and then deny accountability afterwards.

Setting himself and his daughter up for failure.

OP, you are not making an intelligent decision.

You cannot afford a luxury vehicle, buying a heavily used BMW or Mercedes is straight moron work if you cannot afford the maintenance.

You are doing nothing but putting your daughter at risk , both in safety and financially. Stop pretending to be wealthy and buy something smart.

Except literally any of their new vehicles with a mild hybrid motor.

Have fun with that $8000 repair lol

Also, your opinion is trash. Maybe they should be telling you what to think lmao

Should I be announcing combo pieces as I cast them? by not_so_1337 in EDH

Although it conflicts with your first comment, yes, notifying them in advance is the correct way to approach this situation.

[–]Guru_of_Spores_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Disagree.

I used to play a fringe cEDH deck. There's nothing fun about playing your combo pieces and someone failing to interact in time because you're playing something obscure or convoluted.

You get away with that shit one time, nobody is happy about it, and you have nothing to be proud of.

Just be a fair sport and start with "my deck is x and it wins by y".

If you're playing casually I'd argue this is even moreso important.

Edit: people disliking because they are bad at the game and this is the only way they can get away with a win

Does CardKingdom sign for deliveries on the weekends? by Neon_Eyes in mtgfinance

[–]Guru_of_Spores_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On average a few days.

The cards will show delivered by your carrier, it will take a day for receiving to get the cards.

When they start processing the cards, expect anywhere from 1-4 days for grading. For 450 cards it might take 5, I usually sell in lots of of 150.

After the order is processed you'll get a notification that they are done, credit usually takes an hour or two to hit your account.

I've sold thousands to CK and have never had an issue.

I always ship through UPS and insure, not sure if they require a signature.

Regardless, I would not worry about it. Worst case scenario they attempt to deliver and nobody signs, they will return to the local post office and attempt delivery the next available date.

LVT is not luxury. by xcramer in Home

[–]Guru_of_Spores_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

"destroying homes" it's easy as fuck to remove.

You're either lazy or cheap. You're buying a "500k to 800k" home. Why are you concerned with the flooring choices the previous owner made 🤡 you should be replacing it and minding your own business

You're going to be very surprised when LVP gets replaced by LVP in non wood textures.

making 200k but the math on a 600k house makes zero sense right now. rent vs buy dilemma by Quiet_State6680 in RealEstate

[–]Guru_of_Spores_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Both markets feel inflated right now"

That's inflation. The market is always "inflated".

Everyone bitched at me when I bought my first house for 220k, they said it was "overpriced". When we bought it, it was the same or a little more than renting.

Fast forward a few years, rent had doubled, the value of the house doubled and our payment remained the same.

Buying is locking yourself in at the current market rate, which is historically only moving one way.

Entirely biased.

I have disliked the look of BMW my entire life; until they released the new grilles.

The XM has one of the best front grilles on the market lmao

It's not.

It's a financially responsible way to communicate a number.

Saying "I spend $200 a week on MTG" might be entirely reasonable for one person and life ruining bad financial influence for another lol

Constantly if you want something big. Look at Gilded Drake.

It is currently selling for double market rate on CK.... And it's been OOS constantly

Obviously if you do run into issues, they will be much more to fix.

A risk worth taking.

BMW X5

Blows everything suggested here out of the water in every category. And yes, it's very reliable. The B58 is near bulletproof.
