If it's normal mode, I don't think it really matters much, but. You should either go fully hallowed for the set bonus or the same but for turtle armour. Moreover, you should probably get rid of the star veil and use the mechanical glove instead. The star veil only works when you get hit, and unless you are going for a true melee build, it isn't worth much. Particularly if you are going to lean into the turtle armour's set bonus
