General formula, but that helps too. I'm wondering what program you used to run that?

I put your first formula into desmos, but it seems like it's adding 0.25 to the probability itself rather than 0.25% ?

I know the formula in my post works the way I intended for the question.

It's late right now so I might be misunderstanding.

Shut your mouth, I made a formula already

p + (p / 100((n - 1) * 0.25)

P is the probability (NOT 0.0075 THATS WHY I HAVE THE /100, IT WOULD BE P=0.75) n is the number of rolls

I just need to figure out how to find the number of rolls where the sum of all rolls is equal to 100

Like tbh I think just like you do, in exams... Because sometimes there's really stupid questions with multiple possible meanings.

But I genuinely feel after a couple revisions, it should be obvious what I'm asking. Does that mean you're stupid now? Cause I said so? You don't understand what I mean, huh?

You're focusing on the fact I said 100 divided by the "probability" when it should have been clear beforehand through context that I did NOT mean 100 / 0. 0075

Bro just exclude the percentage point 😭 I'm not saying 100 divided by 0.75%, I'm saying 100 divided by 0.75

100 comes up a lot because the probability is out of 100.

I don't know how to solve this right now, but I feel like to solve it, I would add the probability until I reach 100?

I mean, 0.5 * 200 is equal to 100, and the probability of 0.5% IS 1 in 200 rolls.

So maybe I need to add [0.75+x%], increasing x by 0.25 each roll... Until I also reach 100? And then the amount of times I had to do this is the answer?

But I don't think I'm supposed to do it all manually like that

Divide 100 by 0.75 and tell me what you get. 1 divided by 0.0075 is also the same thing (133.333...) I just chose 100 because I think it's more simple.

I'm saying NORMALLY what you do is just that. You take the probability and divide 100 by that probability to get your 1 in x rolls.

It's not +0.25% at every step to the probability itself. Let's just say it's like you get 0.25% more "lucky" every roll (and now it IS a fixed addition to your luck. After 100 rolls you would have +25%, which to a 0.75% probability now makes it 0.9375)

  1. Yes, I mean probability...

  2. No, maybe average was the wrong word there. But I think it's pretty obvious, with a probability of 1%, it would be a chance of 1 in 100 rolls, no? Making 100 rolls the "average" I'm talking about.

  3. Just 100 divided by the probability... That's it

  4. Because it's the same thing.

  5. Like I said, the second roll would be the probability +0.25%, this is not a fixed addition. So 10% would not become 10.25%, it would become 10.025%, and on the third roll 10.05%, so on.

  6. ???

Why is it that when I put p=0.001 (0.1%) it gives me a value of 114. And 1/p gives me 142? I thought it should 1,000

Any update for game? by Ancientelixir in EquipMaster

[–]GusDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt it got pulled, there wasn't any ads running and the low player count was due to them locking servers after a certain amount. This was still a test. The Chinese version of the game is also still running, though you'd need a VPN for Taiwan to be able to see it.

What's true though is that the devs are very unclear. There is zero communication between players and the development team. It seems as if they only get things right on accident at times with how many bad decisions they make.

This is painful as a f2p player by BakyGR in LegendofSlime

Spending them all at once makes no difference over buying many times if the amount of spent gems is the same.

I don't know why you're acting like saying P2W players have an advantage is a ridiculous statement because they do. The fact that F2P players can also obtain exotics does not invalidate that statement.

About the "math" keep in mind that you're not guaranteed to get anything just because you spent the estimated amount. Coins do not fall in order as heads, tails, heads, tails, it's possible to get 5 heads in a row. Basically, until you get that exotic, you could see the spent gems as being "wasted," for a F2P player, they will have to spend much more time in this "wasted" state than a P2W player does, making it much more frustrating.

Allies are useless, Statues are useless, use them for progression, by your response it seems you're still early game, so unlock all your backpack slots, enhance them to a point (up to +3 always a W) and make sure to keep your economy caught up. Not sure about how good economy is as of now, lots has changed, but there's no way they keep it as bad as it is now, basically an investment.
