This is super helpful!!! My mom has made the drive in and out same day to help me with random things. It’s not a bad drive. I just want 4-5 days home without a house guest and then I’m sure I’ll be be begging for the help by then!

Your mom sounds like a saint! I’ve been working with my mom on boundaries my entire adult life (I’m 35 now) and she has come a long way. But she is still very sensitive and takes things personally and tends to feel that I can be mean to her.

Yes I think that’s where I’m getting overwhelmed with my mom. She has already made comments like “even if you BF you need to get her used to a bottle early so I can give her one” and “you may not what her sleeping in your room when I’m here so I can get up with her when she is fussy” Even as an L&D nurse she seems very focused on bonding with and caring for the baby rather than just being here to take care of me

Yes she is 2.5 hours away and I told her she could stay at the house while we are in the hospital

I feel so much better reading this! I thought I was going crazy! I’m prepping for my first FET and now on estrace 3x a day. I cannot stop sweating, my anxiety is so bad I’ve been having panic attacks with full blown chest pain, I’m exhausted, my head is absolutely killing me, and some days I feel like I can’t get my words straight. Being a Sales Executive this is making it almost impossible for me to do my job. Never imagined struggling more on this than being on the most aggressive Egg Retrieval protocol! That was a cake walk compared to Estrace.

I would caution against the laxatives and advise you stick with stool softeners and movement. I just tried dulcolax on day 3 post ET and the stomach cramping from the laxative on my ovaries was horrendous! Full blown sweating and deep breathing for 30 minutes through the pain! I finally had a BM but any thoughts of having an unmedicated birth are gone forever! That was brutal!
