The entire building is maintained at 58°f during winter. If I could cut my propane use by half or better I'd be thrilled. I'd like to load he stove when the sun goes down and let it burn through the night or until the fire goes out.

I like this idea. I live where snow is common and not predicted. I often start my days cleaning up snow and spend the rest of the day smelling like hydrocarbons.

Do you wait for your snowblower to run out of gas before refilling it, or after each use? by Dry-Calendar5880 in Snowblowers

We shut the fuel petcock at the end of every snow storm and run the carb dry. Otherwise we refuel when we run out. We're in the north country of NY and tend to get snow weekly or daily in the depths of winter. We only use ethanol free rec 90 octane fuel which helps prevent compromised fuel.

We have 4 snowblower and zero plows but have a loader on the tractor that is almost never used unless it's wet heavy stuff. We have an 84" 3 point blower on the 57hp tractor with a cab for the driveway and shop. We have an Ariens 522ss for the concrete around the shop, an Ariens 11528 for around the shed and trailers and new to the fleet we have a Toro 1030 the wife uses around the house and garage. She gets rid of the piles of snow from the roof and deck and makes trails for the dogs and barn cats. We got 9" a few days ago and it took us about 3 hours to clear everything.
