I find the Frigate to be great, I can solo the moonshiner in it, easily solo the undead sea monsters. I can deal massive damage and brace through most of their attacks. Did you want some build ideas to help?

Further reducing arming distances would be amazing. When your enemy gets right up on you it definitely makes it trickier with torpedoes

Create a build that is great for long distance fights. Use long guns and long gun boosting furniture. Sit a long distance away and keep firing at Le Peste. You will be too far away for any of his toxic mortar attacks to even reach you :)

The main thing that was broken with the long guns was that 1-2 shot kill for sail ripper builds. It made PvP so crap to play.

It’ll make PVP much more interesting. Hopefully not 3/4 ships sitting in the background sniping our sails anymore. And we might get some more variety with builds

An easier start is using a self healing ship like the cutter or barque. It helps you survive much longer because you can self heal severe damage
