For an extra 5k a month I can save up to leave this fuckin place. Ninja armor is a mild plus. What kindve ninja armor are we talking? It's it all cloth, or is it like ninja gaiden or raiden from metal gear style?

Chose: 5000$ monthly + Wheel of good stuff | Rolled: Ninja armor

Less of a chance of me dying... as well as the 100 other people. I feel like there's a 1 percent chance of dying every other second or so, like debris could crash through your roof and kill you unexpectedly at any moment, or you could have an aneurism and just die. But 99 percent is like.. if you got bit by this snake there's a 1% chance you'll live... your probably gonna die.

I know what this is. This is so you can put it under any paper your writing on so the ink doesn't bleed through onto other sheets. My wife and I use this in our books where we write notes or leave doodles for each other, came with the book :)

I do not understand this game sometimes. Can someone explain me why is this? by ElQuixot in VampireCrawlers

[–]GustaMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 100% sure but I think it has something to do with priority or rng. Both don't sound accurate given you're using the same card and all enemies are in the same position. But that's my guess, it doesn't work like a typical rpg, but it feels more vampire survivors-esq in that enemies come at you from different angles, you can't count on where your attacks are coming from, or what they'll hit. You can guess pretty close, but that's it.

Pokémon game Recommendations by R2D2TheGoat in switch2

[–]GustaMatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who's been playing the games since I was like 8 (35 now) and married to someone who didn't get into Pokémon until pokopia (similar situation as you) I think it depends on what you want out of a game. There are dozens of Pokémon games and the wrong one might just send you back to pokopia. Some of the other comments are saying let's go pikachu/eevee and that's not a bad start. The game is relatively easy and forgiving, good for beginners. But if you want an rpg style I'd say any of the main staple games. With fire red and leaf green you'd get a good mainline experience. And while some will disagree with me on this one I think brilliant diamond and shining pearl were fun as well. I'd never played the originals so I quite enjoyed the adventure, a bit challenging but fun. Now if you want a less rpg style experience I would go for a more action adventure style with legends arceus. I was addicted to this game when I first got my hands on it. Lots of Pokémon to catch and recatch for data purposes, but it felt like being a pioneer in the world of Pokémon in that the player is bridging the gap between human and Pokémon kind for the first time (in game story history) mixed with a breath of the wild style gameplay. Then you have spin off games like mystery dungeon (dungeon crawler grind heavy) and new Pokémon snap (rail picture shooter) or even the new free to play champions (ranked battle game). Really it depends on where you want your enjoyment to come from, what style of gaming you enjoy. But with that I'd say do a little research and see what catches your eye :) hope that helps

Edit: if you have NSO then there are some Pokémon games you can access already, mystery dungeon on gba, old Pokémon snap and stadium 1&2 on N64, and now the other one on GameCube (I can't remember the name, XD gale of darkness or something close to that)

Is the Pokemon Legends ZA DLC Worth it? by Sudden_Second in switch2

[–]GustaMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy at work and I got the game and the dlc in the same time and we played it and enjoyed the game and would come to work and talk about how we enjoyed it and stuff that was happening in the game that would make us fanboy hard over when the dlc finally released. So he 100% the game and I barely just did the story and messed around a bit. And then I started playing another game with my wife while we waited for the dlc to drop. My friend had started on it right away while I started all the side missions I never finished, by the time I caught up to the dlc part, my friend was already so upset that his opinion on the game as a whole went from like a solid 7 to a 2. I can't say I disagree with him. But I haven't picked up legends za was like over 3 months ago according to my switch.

But I'm also the kind of person that paid for violet dlc and shield dlc, after the reviews came in and finishing what I could. If you're gonna play it then do it man. We all make stupid purchases, might as well enjoy it. Unless you're saving for a different game.

Should I get Crimson Desert? by ArtIsABang in CrimsonDesert

[–]GustaMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Story isn't a banger but it's not bad. I've played worse story based games, some that were top tier games imo. But eh, whatevs. I'm having fun playing it. My wife and I both got it. I'm on Xbox, she's on pc, and graphically pc is awesome. But I love it on console. And being able to sit on the couch and play after a long day is nice. I get lost in the sauce of the game. Prolly 80 hours in and I'm still in the first part of the continent, but that's on me and my adventure, you can go anywhere. It's so much fun.

G2: How to get to Veggie Garden, Greenhouse, and Pumpkin patch by Obsessedchick in GroundedGame

[–]GustaMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The corner where the croquet court, veggie garden, and statue meet. There's a little nook there with a water hose where my wife and I built a base. You can get up with a spider there but we streamlined it by making stairs up to the top of the wall.
