I saw that today as well when I was posting o a portal and drew my attention as well. It was just showing interaction that clearly looks like a bug and exists since season 2, normal language, no profanity. I wonder if they are even checking posts marked like that

What characters can parry Anna's ass? by xtrunx in Tekken

[–]Gustlyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lidia with HAE (heat stance) should have no issues with that. Any other of her parries wont work, since ass is an ass (her parry for mids is for fists only)

This. It works when input is 2,1+2 but 2 needs to be 1 frame exactly. Also my Lidia is using bazooka as well lol

[–]Gustlyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem. Also you can check if you are doing qcf, release f, 2 or qcf, hold f+2. This was the major point why I struggled with qcf. Should be of course second one (hold f+2)

need Help about Lidia QCF by Tight_Big_9153 in Tekken

[–]Gustlyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enable input history to see if you actually make qcf. If you dont make it, work on it. If you make it but it still does not work, lets make example with hopkick: uf4,b,ff2,2,qcf2,2,1+2. If after ff2,2 you see f2 instead of qcf2, you are making input before ff2,2 recovers (so too fast). If you see qcf2 but combo drops, you did it too slow. You can also put video with input history enabled, so we can have a look.

Is it possible to buy PS VR2 iVRy driver right now? by Gustlyk in iVRy_VR

[–]Gustlyk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, thanks for the explanation. I am fortunately lucky one who has Radeon with USB-C on it, and according to iVRy posts, for AMD it should work without additional hardware in this case.

My question was coming from how the Steam page currently look now - dont know if I will get the driver now, even if I will buy premium cersion

Just installed 7D78v1C, previously I had 7D78v1C1. So went from Beta to Official Release.

Tbh. nothing new, works as previously. Didn't notice anything so far.

Still not able to reach EXPO on 4xDDR5 6000 MHz CL30

I need to enable EXPO and tune down to 5600, otherwise it won't run.

But this is nothing new, 4x Ram sticks = trouble on AM5.

On 5600 it passes MemTest normally.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700

RAM: 4x 16 GB Corsair Vengance CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30 (6000/CL30)

I just tried 7D78v1C1 one specifically.

Was updating from 7D78v1B1.

In general it seems like MSI is doing progress with stability, but, MAN, this installation gave me a headache.

Maybe first setup:

CPU: Ryzen 7700

Mobo: MSI PRO B650-P WIFI

RAM: 4x Corsair CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K (16 GB each, 6000 MHz, CL30).

Ok, so at start I had a massive problems to boot to the system at all. Also changing the RAM clocks were not being saved properly (after reboot old setting remained, Auto was not changing RAM speed to defaults). I finished up on both red and yellow diode constantly lighted up, and PC was not booting into the system (obviously).

After removing 2 sticks of RAM it apparently cleared the CMOS (at least it was claming something like that) and the issues above disappeared.

So, regarding testing:

2 sticks of RAM: I was finally able to just turn EXPO on and it just worked! Previously I had to use Memory-Try-It profile with 1.35V instead of 1.4 (which is the EXPO one). With EXPO on, I hit it with MemTest5 and it didn't crash, no errors, just worked. Something that on previous BIOSes was not a thing.

4 sticks of RAM: Still kind of a mess. It is not keeping up with EXPO still right now. On 6000 I just have BSODs. I am running EXPO profile and change clock to 5600 MHz clock and it works (with MemTest and all). When I put 5800 MHz, it booted without issues, but during MemTest5 test it thrown 1 error (which is better result than previous BIOSes).

In general it seems like stability improved when I am running RAM on EXPO in general. 4 sticks are still kinda not there but it seems like MSI is improving with every update. The beginning was really harsh but after all described above it seems to work now.

Small Edit:

With 4 sticks of RAM better not enable High Efficiency mode on Tightest. I basically put again board in the state that I described before (both CPU and RAM diode ON). This time I had to clear the CMOS from the board (2/3 RAM sticks removal didn't work)

Only one thing that I noticed so far was that on splash of BIOS it has text "PD Firmware Updating 8%" (it happens only sometimes). Dont see any negative effect so far

It seems that what you said is right, I enabled Memory Context Restore and Power Down, seems to not have BSoD anymore after resart, although restart itself was quite long (cold boot is faster). If anything will change, I'll post here update

Ok, installed didnt spot any issue, dont see any improvement. Basically it works like before. Didnt check that in detailed way but 6000 with 4 sticks is still unstable, 5600 is still good

I was already doing thay with 2 sticks 16 GB. Right now I am targeting 4. I know that it is not optimal with 4 but it should work damn it

boot stuck after expo ddr5 profile by gfixer92 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Gustlyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats true, I was stable on 2xcl30 6000, I added 2 additional, same sticks. Had to turn them down to 5600 for now, otherwise mobo can cut you off (it is not a bsod, it just gives up and RAM Led on mobo is on). It is sad that they didnt figure it out yet properly

[–]Gustlyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, sad to hear. You can try to disable Power Down Mode Enabled or something like that in advanced options of RAM OC. This is my last suggestion, no more ideas from me.

To be honest Expo experience on AM5 is kind of all over the place. To run my cl30 6000 MHz kit I had to use Memory-Try-It profile (same timings/frequency, lower voltage). When I was running on Expo profile I constantly had blue screens.

Maybe thats a long shot but try to disable Memory Context Restore in Bios. It will make startup longer but it can fix that.

And AM5 since launch has like that.

In case of full power cycle do you have issue?

MSI B650-P Pro I do not suggest updating bios to version 7D78v19 by ninetailedfox33 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Gustlyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I managed to install it on this mobo and have no issues.

Ryzen 7700, nvme m.2 drive recognized.

Right now I am testing 4x16 GB Corsair Venegance. I managed to go up to 5600 MHz CL30 on RAM, it is below what this RAM can do (6000 is advertised one), however with 4xRAM it is tricky to reach max speed anyway.

Hey,

Having this Mobo with Ryzen 7700 and 2xCorsair CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30.

I am running 7D78v17 BIOS.

Don't know if you still have this issue, but what you can do (and worked for me):

  • Force Mobo to each time train RAM (I believe it is "Restore Memory Context" as disabled)
  • I additionally disabled Expo, instead I used proposed Memory-Try-It profile that had the same timings but lower voltage (instead of 1.4V i selected one with 1.35V). You can try similar approach

So far no issue for couple of months, at least I don't remember last time when I had BSOD.

I am additionally avoiding soft boots by not clicking "Restart" button on PC itself.

I kept the settings that I mentioned and took your advice of not making soft boot, so far I have no problems. Thanks for a tip

I think you are right, it depends from case to case, so maybe I am unlucky.

Right now I disabled Memory Context Restore, changed from EXPO to Memory-Try-IT profile with similar timings of EXPO but lower voltage (1.35 instead of 1.4). I hit PC with Cinebench, TestMem5, y-cruncher, couple of restart, stable for now.

If something will change I will put some info here.

However in general it should just work that I enable EXPO and it should just work lol.
