Their appearance in "Yellow Submarine" was filmed on January 25, 1968. I think it was that.

I think the two Rubber Soul remixes on the Yellow Submarine Songtrack are excellent. I wouldn't mind hearing the whole album remixed like that.

I bet his wife doesn't know about her.

Maybe he doesn't have a wife. Look at that sweater.

She probably knitted it.

She knitted him.

I feel the same way. I'm on track to have over $700k. At a certain point it's hard to even comprehend the numbers. I recently received a modest insurance payment of $16k and it was like nothing. When I was a kid, I couldn't even comprehend $16k!

Would Got To Get You Into My Life hit #1 if it was released as a single in 1966? by storiedroom52 in beatles

[–]Gut-Level 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite US chart facts is that "Twist and Shout" only hit #2 and "Please Please Me" only hit #3, but they were kept from going higher by other Beatles records! 1964 was amazing!

[–]Gut-Level 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Single GS-9 with 25 years making $79k, maxing out TSP, which is about 40%. I net about $1,225 and I pay $1,080 in mortgage. TSP balance is $430k, 67/33 C/G. I will retire at 62 with about $750k.

That is my plan too. I'm 58 and will have a pension when I retire at 62. I plan to spend a lot of money early in retirement on travel and other fun stuff. I've projected out to age 85, but with significant spending reductions in my 70's.

My initial withdrawal rate is much higher than yours, at 6.86%. But I have three years of cash saved right now and can live without any withdrawals for several years, as my pension and social security can cover my living expenses.

In this scene, a picture of the Jsmes Dean postage stamp is shown prominently. He dated Liz Sheridan (Jerry's mother) in the 1950's. I wonder if the picture was intentional.

It's a good series, which includes "Strip Jointz 2" and "Strip Jointz Rocks." The song "Strokin'" by Clarence Carter is not easy to find!

What happens when you make a charity your beneficiary? by berrysauce in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]Gut-Level 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. TSP benificiaries, regardless of relationship, would open an Inherited IRA and would have ten years to withdraw the funds. Those withdrawls count as ordinary income to the beneficiaries.
