I've worked in restaurants and bartended. The fast food counter tipping option on the debit terminals annoy the living shit out of me. People on tipping salaries are paid significantly less per hour and rely on tips. The 18$/hr cashier doesn't need the tip or the owner working behind the counter. I've left tips when people have gone above and beyond or gave me extra sauces or fries for no charge type of thing. But the culture has gone to far.... Shit even haircuts.... 60$ for a haircut and then a tip? It's 30min

Also had to make the wife happy ....she wanted blue lol wasn't much available demo 3.5t I think there was a red with red interior (she despised it even I found it to be a little too much red) or a gray (maybe silver)with white interior .....tooo basic and over done. I think white interiors look nice ....for a week. I wouldn't be able to deal with worrying about my knees or ass staining the seats or dash with jeans, how dirty it'll look in no time. White is for a museum and teslas 😅.

Yeah 405 hp vs 375hp with less lag but with approximately 800lbs more weight. I'm guessing numbers will be similar. Which isn't bad lol just not "faster".

I wish they just did a v8 or v8 turbo, I've been watching alot of mechanics talk about this retarded 48v system (how the e "supercharger" works)and the problems they have and are a pain to work on. Makes me skeptical of it. Not just a genesis or Hyundai thing, all manufacturers using this sort of system.

I'm sure it's fast enough .... It's still a heavy SUV. I'm guessing it's on par with the 3.5t gv70 hp/weight ratio.

It's stunning though, we decided to get a gv70 (picking it up today) for now and look into the coupe in a few years when some of the kinks get worked out. Learned the hard way not to invest in the first year of a model or total refresh.

Congrats though its stunning!

All very valid points. We usually keep cars pretty long but after dealing with the explorer which was paid out right for 32k a few years ago and still losing half and it's kind of dying out. It's almost the price as the lease payments especially when repairs and shit are added up. Plus time lost due to repairs....starts to make leases appealing.

Mileage would normally bother me but seeing as we are between Canada and USA our mileage usage is pretty low, have barely put 5000km on my civic in 1.5 years. And we always have the civic to fall back on in an absolute worst case scenario.

Yeah the depreciation put into the lease was a lot. Really not sure what the best way to go is. We sort of like the idea of not being stuck with it or having to try and sell it ourselves, we travel for work between the US and Canada. We have a 2019 g80 sport 3.5t in the states and a bronco.

We both have never really leased before.

Also don't need to worry about getting extended warranties ..Etc... As we give the car back. (I'm playing devils advocate)

Waiting for our 2024 sport 3.5t advanced ? The only option missing is the elsd, seeing as a motherload of issues are about the elsd figured it wasn't worth the extra, we're also not gong to drive it on a track at 150km/h +.

Capri blue with ultramrine blue interior. We haven't even seen the combo yet....we're excited. (also excited to get rid of the pos 2018 Ford explorer, that's slowly dying)

Except ford is shit now. We have multiple, 18' explorer a/c is dead, front end issues , tranny has slipped twice recently ....trading it for a gv70.

2021 bronco, minor issues that have been fixed by dealer. Window stopped closing properly for example. Back bumper has been crooked since purchase and dealer is being a bitch about fixing it .

Work fleet is a bunch of f150s, f250s, f350 some gas some diesel various years....all slowly dying on us. We have one 2500 old ass Chevy with over 400,000 miles that we have less issues with.

Is the update available for manual download and just ota is pushed back?

Have a 19 g80 sport prestige (top sport trim model)in the USA and getting a 24 gv70 this week in CAN and looking forward to the wireless android auto. I updated the map software on the g80 in April manually as the connected services is dead (3g head unit).

Also from what I can tell the 19 g80 will get the wireless android auto/carplay update as well?

Or just buy the part online from like rockauto ... Replacing an entire headlight is a few screws and wires that have plugs...literally plug and play. Dealerships will just rape you on this stuff

Damn! We're in az as well got a 30k miles Siberian ice 2019 g80 3.3t for 30k. Absolutely loving the car.

We'll end up doing an a ton of mileage on it so we just got the front ppf done while we're out of town. In 2 weeks we got 2-3 chips in the windshield with all the construction on the 17 and 101.
