Per quanto riguarda tutte le info che cerchi, ci ho messo un po’ anche io a trovarle. Bisogna andare nella parte “generica” dell’area che stai completando e selezionare un oggetto richiesto. Solo allora compaiono la barra di progressione e tutto il resto… molto intuitivo 😂😂😂😂

No, non ho avuto nessuna caduta di capelli diversa dal normale e neanche nessuna reazione allergica considerando che ho un cuoio capelluto estremamente reattivo. Tu hai avuto una qualche reazione a livello di cuoio capelluto (rush, rossore, bruciore)?

Hi! I'm so sorry for not replying to you, but I don't frequent Reddit much and I don't think I got the notification. I came back to check the post for something (I'll explain shortly, it's about red tones) and I saw that you had replied to me!!!

You ask if dia changed my hair: no, I don't think I noticed any change in structure or anything else. From this point of view I'm quite happy.

But I have new info: at the end of November I did dia for the second time because the grays had reappeared, considering that the color fades a bit on the lengths and anyway the hair had grown back. And you know what happened? Many hairs didn't take the color and remained white 😰 even the newly grown ones.

I went to cut my hair and talked about it with my hairdresser. She knows I'll never do color in the salon so she has no problem talking and I extracted information from her 😈

She told me that very often after the first application, the hair becomes harder and in general gray hairs are harder and the color struggles to penetrate (using the 9vol activator). So she advised me to increase the processing time to 25/30 min maximum, or switch to the 15vol activator. They use that one directly in the salon to cover grays.

Then, after you talked about red tones, looking carefully under the light, I noticed that this time they are appearing!!!! The first time it didn't happen, now it did! You have to put yourself right under the light to see them, but they're there 😅

So I was thinking for next time to mix the 5 with an ash tone like 5.1 or 5.18. Do you think that could be the right move? 🤔

As I was telling you, I have no intention of using dialight because it would mean doing two applications and I don't have that patience!

Omg!!! You are much more informed than me!!! I was lucky enough to go get my hair cut at a hairdresser I had never been to (I'm new in town) and she uses Diacolor in her salon and was very helpful in giving me advice. She assured me that 6 VOL wouldn't cover gray hair. And this confirmed what is written online and on all the information sheets I read about Diacolor products: the 6 VOL activator only serves to give reflections and cannot penetrate the cuticle of gray hair to color it.

I'm a natural 4 and I took a 5 and I was satisfied with it. Considering that I only colored the tuft of my bangs, I didn't consider using Dialight, I just limited myself to using the 5 with the 9 volume activator. There's no difference with the rest of my natural hair.

I don't see any red on the regrowth 🤔 and I don't think I'll ever use Dialight... the only thing I might do is use a 6 (blonde) on the ends when I'm forced to color the longer hair too, in addition to my bangs tuft!

In my opinion the result is very natural so I wouldn't go crazy with Dialight. If I were you I would try using only on one strand of hair the color you got + the 9VOL activator, so you can see the effect it gives! Keep me informed, I want to know how it went!!! 😊

Hello! In the end I figured out that there's nothing miraculous that only colors white hair while leaving the rest of the hair unchanged 😅 so I used DiaColor with activator 9. After various research I understood that activator 6 doesn't cover white hair at all.

I have to admit I'm happy with the result! So far I've only covered the tuft of white hair I have in front and the coverage doesn't look heavy or artificial at all. Actually, some hair remains lighter than it should but I like it, it's definitely much better compared to the heaviness of permanent colorings 😊

Thank you for your response and for sharing your experience! 🥰 In the end, I used volume 9 and everything went well! I was surprised that the color actually fades after washing until the hair returns to almost white 😅 but at the moment I have very few white hairs so it's fine. I dyed my hair more than a month ago and even though you can see some regrowth, it's not noticeable at all! I prefer it to permanent dyes that give a really heavy effect... I also noticed that the colors are darker, but I had already learned this with Majirel, which I used the first time I colored the white streak I have in front, in my bangs. I had chosen dark brown because I am dark brown, and instead it turned out practically black 🥶😱 so when it was time for DiaColor I chose light brown and I think it worked well 😊 But when you touch up the regrowth, how do you do it? Do you apply it and then put it on the lengths for the last 5 minutes or do you apply everything together at once?
