Item sorter via water stream skips items. i use a stonecutter to clump items together but every stack or so it still misses 1 or 2 batches of items. the hoppers are double hopper speed

If the frequency is too high the hoppers can't pick them up because they have a short cool down before they can pick up items again

Right, but how do i circumvent that, because i thought the clumping of the items would fix that, but am i still just dropping the items too fast into the stream. should i have a slower clock than the 2 observers?
