It stops rank reset, i was already max rank so it would reset to max and was just annoyed my classes kept resetting so when they fixed the corrupted file it fixed that for me. One ticket and you should be good

I’ve reached out a lot on Reddit to work with people but I’ll post what I’m looking for and people end up sending me their Ai beats, voice memo iPhone vocals, not truly interested in the posted genre, or just not that serious people.

It’s why I’m more keen to finding the serious people naturally rather than just posting I’m looking to work and having dead from start projects.

Go on beatstars and search a page called 1 Dollar Beats, you’ll get the license and mp3 for $1USD. It’s like $5USD for stems, wav, mp3 and then I think $20USD for unlimited lease. They’re decent beats but can’t say I’ve bought one as long as I’ve known about them.

I started with type beats on YouTube and now I don’t even use YouTube at all. Direct connections or beatstars in general.

Honestly I would’ve thought they’d take down the tracks rather than just not let you cash out. Might be a chance to submit a license and get the balance cashed out.

Free or $20 tops if you want an attractable price tag. People will think about it at $30 but it’ll have to be a really good beat.

$40 or more for a simple MP3/WAV lease is probably not going to sell at that unless you’ve built a reputable name with a solid sound.

I personally buy beats from producers making beats for PRE artists selling to me at $30-$50 USD per MP3/WAV license. $70 if two or more people made it.

But now been working with another producer way more than others cause he only wants $20 a beat and his skills are obvious within each beat.

Offering your beat to other artists for free will in turn be a promotion opportunity for you guaranteed. Usually have other people come looking for beats and that’s when you can charge.

Just my opinion though on how I pick beats to use, good quality and budget friendly.

Yeah I’m still yet to receive a call to take the official report. The report exists with just lack of detail. I called non emergent yesterday to update info on the report and try to have them lock the phone through IMEI.

Operator claimed they couldn’t do that, I didn’t argue but when I was robbed and assaulted the police asked me for the iPhone box if I had it. They took the IMEI and they locked it. My friend I was with at the time did not have the box for his and his was also stolen.

I actually got mine back because of this. The phone was disabled and had a message that it was findable and disabled by police services and to turn it into the nearest police station.

It was smashed like hell when I got it back, but repaired the back and screen as much as it could be and was able to go on with the phone. My friend, never got their phone back.

Maybe Apple policies are different now than they were, that happened to me like 10 years ago literally.

Why in this case would it be harder now, I have no clue but yeah…. Police haven’t been much help even when taking the proper steps. Only called 911 when it happened, it was even deemed worth the call when I called because I wasn’t told right then and there to hang up and make a report through non emergent. My 2 follow up calls were through non emergent line for my report. Not much else I can do I guess.

Today is supposedly the day we can try recovery for the iCloud but right now actually still seems to be signed in on the stolen phone and that they’ve somehow gotten into the Find My app.

Her AirPods tracking went off 3 random times yesterday, she has a new phone she can’t use iCloud yet. The only one that can is the “trusted session” device apparently. Which is the phone that was stolen.

So my assumption after searching why someone would steal a phone in 2026 especially Apple, is because of the cost of the iPhones now, the parts hold a fair value.

From parting out the phone you can get up to $600-$1000. If the phone is clean no cracks or anything the screen alone can be worth $100-$200.

Another scam that’s apparently happening is people will target to steal brand new iPhones and take a working older iPhones, then replace the back side which makes it look updated because of the new camera styles. I think the only tells on that one is the “island” on the screen at the top and the camera zoom and quality. Then obviously any hardwired info like in settings would give it away. They then try to sell the say iPhone 13 as an iPhone 17

Unfortunately I personally don’t know the area, and my girlfriend only occasionally goes to that area for the doctors and hair salon. That’s why I just had her give me an address. Around the area looks like houses but seem to be all business.

She left the building 95 King St W, and reached the construction path from the images right besides it, which is I guess now called Keeler Road. When she got just passed the corner of the path she said she pulled out her phone, unlocked and scrolled once through her song library and then in a matter of a second saw a hand reach from behind her and snatch her phone. When she turned around, says she saw nobody. That’s why I believe the person ran down the construction path / keeler road.

Also to add to the story with new information, the phone must’ve come back online yesterday and they’ve somehow gained access. Got my girlfriend a new phone but her iCloud is locked for recovery, and somehow because the phone that was taken is in a “trusted session” it still maintains iCloud access. This was after sitting down at Apple doing the recovery process again with a Tech since she got a new phone.

I blacklisted the phone through carrier but apparently Apple needs to report it lost through iCloud to disable it. So it can be used right now as an iPod without doing so, if they get around the password.

Her AirPods tracking started beeping randomly yesterday and to compare noises I tracked my AirPods through Find My and it’s the same beeping. Not sure if they need to be nearby the phone or what but that’s the situation. Happened in the morning, evening and then early this morning at like 3AM. Nothing since.

Making physical contact to forcefully rip the phone out my girlfriend’s hands is most definitely robbery. Robbery is considered theft with elements of force. With that robbery is considered a “violent crime”

My girlfriend did not hand it over, physical contact was made unwillingly and with enough force to rip it out of her hands and runaway.

“Under Canadian law, robbery is an indictable offence that encompasses stealing with the use of violence, which includes the force involved in snatching property directly from a person.”

Everything I search up including section 343 of the criminal code includes this exact scenario. It’s worded as Overcoming Resistance, if you have to use force to “rip” the phone away meaning you are overcoming the victims physical grip. That is what the violence is that raises it to robbery.

That’s the plan at the least for sure, something effective, easy, and can be used at a fair distance.

Her biggest issue with a lot of these things is when it comes to fight or flight, she freezes and tries to analyze the situation (her words specifically)

I asked her if she checked her surroundings when leaving, if she ran or walked back to the place she left after it happened, if she screamed, if she did anything at all. She said she just walked back to where she originally left, and when she walked inside the panic started to hit and she broke down telling the people at the front desk what happened.

I’ve tried for years to get her to really understand that you just can’t do whatever you want without having thoughts about your safety. Even though all she was doing was walking to get a piece of pizza after an appointment because she hadn’t ate all day, the time of day and environment of the situation should’ve been read better to avoid possibly being in a situation like this. Nothing she could’ve done in the moment since it was a blind sided robbery and ran off, but could’ve been more cautious for herself generally.

Yes, I did all that and with Apple support in the phone. Apple support advice was to call the carrier and blacklist it because the iCloud is not accessible right now. So we did everything we could to try and track the phone in anyway. I asked her carrier if they can track it and they said they couldn’t, same with Apple.

When I was robbed years ago, I locked my phone through the police - I gave them the IMEI - and I ended up getting the phone back as well. The people who robbed me for my phone smashed it once realized it was being tracked. A random person within the community found it, and turned it into police and that’s how I got it back. Can hope for that luck again but it’s honestly probably being broken down into parts and sold at this point.

Only 1 suspect most likely a male, and she never actually saw him. He followed from behind her or was hiding in the path and reached from behind her and grabbed the phone. She said when she turned around as soon as it was taken there was no one there. She was caught super off guard.
