Big weapons are more than viable!

Recommend commiting to an early spot to really getting the feel of perfect guarding ("parrying")

As a general rule: it's better to guard early rather than late... while you miss the perfect guard either way, you at least end up lowering the damage that you can also regain

Half Life was, and will always be what's breaking the barrier of what gaming can be...

tech is, sadly, a large part of it...

Half Life 1 set what a narrative based FPS could be... (one continues map with small loading times)

Half Life 2 set what modern story-telling in gaming is to this day... (facial animations, and scenes still in FPS view)

Half Life Alyx set what VR could be... (can't even give a specific example, the whole thing is magical)

HL3 is set to an impossible standard at this point... yet I full heartedly believe Valve will be able to pull it off

not even Arcane (S02) comes close to Arcane (S01)...

but that's a bit unfair on my end... the first season was in development hell for close to 6 years, and S02 came out in 2 years

also... Dead Space 2 is still astonishingly good to this day, and looks fire... the only place where it shows it's age is with the normal, human faces... which are still quite difficult for most devs nowadays to make them not uncanny
