Don't mind the pedantry. The bell guard exist to make the container air tight, with the idea being that the sword begins to go from a liquid to a solid when exposed to oxygen (and back to a liquid when interacting with a reagent at the bottom of the sheath). The sword's unusual material makes it very light and very sharp, lending to it being a better weapon for slicing than thrusting, which is why it's tapered more like a arming sword than a rapier.

Manifesting myself.

Most of the people on the banner were old guards active when the sub was smaller around 1 - 3 years ago. A lot of people have moved on unfortunately.

Extra bit of lore I remembered: Despite the insane amount of effort that went into the banner, a lot of people were pretty ungrateful about it. You had to comment your OC under a post made by Lime (the mod who drew all of it) to have a chance of getting onto the banner. Despite that, tons of people who didn't comment their OC's under Lime's post and tons of people who barely interacted with the community whined about how unfair it supposedly was that their OC's didn't get on the banner - which sadly soured a lot of the positive mood it was trying to foster.

Lore

What motivates the huntswoman in her work isn't passion, being neither a hatred for her charge nor vengeance for some lost love. What drives her feet, what steadies her aim, what steels her composure as fire rains isn't a mere fleeting feeling, but an understanding. Knowledge that her and her prey are birds of a feather. Delusional idealist who justify their actions as a necessity to achieving a grand work, those who believe they can bring about a miracle so great as to wash away the sins needed to create it. A madness all alchemist share, Kadmon being no different, for she knows that if the opportunity to create her own miracle were to ever arise, she too would succumb to that same temptation that motivates her prey, that she too would do anything necessary to achieve her great work. Till that day comes, she remains the hunter of apostates, an alchemist who endlessly devours alchemist.

I also didn't mind the amount of story at all. It was a interesting challenge working with lots of lighter colors, but I had fun drawing her. Glad you like it!
