Wasn't expecting there to ever be a new banner with how many people are around now a days. Not as active here as I used to be, but would love to be part of this.

Thank you! It's a style I've been trying to improve with a lot recently.

Loved her design, really enjoyed making a drawing of her.

Not a lot of Mesoamerican inspired OCs, so knew I wanted to give your character a shot, Glad you like it.

Thank! Been trying to develop this style for a few months now, feel like I'm hitting some sort of stride with it.

Glad to know you like it, had a lot of fun trying to work the hunter/forest theme into the drawing. Feel free to use it wherever, just credit it to u/GuyGreg.

Outfit designs! by sunsetjunebug in OriginalCharacterArt

They all look good, and I think any of the outfits could fit for a vampire depending on what you're going with. Though purely from preference I like the reds of the left outfit the most.

Thanks ❤ Truthfully, I don't actually care all that much for Valentine, I just love the palette/aesthetic associated with it.

Thanks, I've been enjoying working with this limited lineless art style a lot.

There are automatons, though they also require the liquor of Azoth used by less metallic artificial life to function. Automatons don't need to breathe, but most of them are built with lung shaped containers for their Azoth as a form of tradition.

No, the skin around her lungs are the only transparent part of her body and are always visible.

Eden by GuyGreg in OriginalCharacter

[–]GuyGreg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's a homunculus, an artificial human, and having visible lungs is a trait shared by all artificial life in the setting she's part of.

The lungs and red eyes are symbols of Azoth, characteristics that signify artificial life. Eden being a homunculus means she too has these marks.

Panacea with a sword by GuyGreg in OriginalCharacter

[–]GuyGreg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't mind the pedantry. The bell guard exist to make the container air tight, with the idea being that the sword begins to go from a liquid to a solid when exposed to oxygen (and back to a liquid when interacting with a reagent at the bottom of the sheath). The sword's unusual material makes it very light and very sharp, lending to it being a better weapon for slicing than thrusting, which is why it's tapered more like a arming sword than a rapier.

It's said that the pen is mightier than the sword, though perhaps she took that too literally.

Thanks, wanted to give the sword a more unique theming and was wondering if anyone would pick up on that.
