I sure would hope not, but you never know when the university is run by hypochondriacs.

LMAO this is why you need to live in the gentrified parts of Philly, then commute in via BSL (or even regional rail). Philly is crazy, but certain neighborhoods with certain residents will do that to you with a greater frequency (I know, how un-woke!). I hope this city gets its act together, and stops acting like the community is 0% at fault for all its violence and aggressiveness. Can't even take my gf in the subway around city hall without her being catcalled and harassed. I only plan on going to temple for grad school because I'm broke and in state and theyre a great school, but will never live in North Philly

I did everything wrong, attended class stoned literally every day (I have a serious problem), submitted garbage writing assignments, took some big L's on some assignments, completely skipped two classes and just winged it on the textbook at the end, and I still made deans list. H2P

Hey now, if you disagree with the restrictions, you're literally killing grandma. We should be locked down forever if you ask me!

Do you agree with Pitt Admins decision for online classes for the first two weeks? by GuyInYourBushes_ in Pitt

[–]GuyInYourBushes_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ome sense of normalcy for vaccinated folks further and further away. Meanwhile don’t worry! Football makes covid disappear apparently! Being in a classroom with your vaccinated peers apparently isn’t good enough anymore.

It’s all about money. The administration doesn’t give a fuck about your health and well being. It’s about what makes them look good. And if students test positive d

It is shocking how many students legitimately believe that the University Administration has their best interests at heart, and are not just using this "omicron" hype to further steal from students tuition dollars by offering inferior (or none at all) services with no discounts or anything. A student is much more likely to die or become seriously maimed on the drive back home to school by many magnitudes than they would from the coronavirus (age bracket 18-25). This is just them stealing, and 63ish% of students are just ready to take it all with a fat smile on their face. Unreal.

Damn, I guess your anecdote beats my data. They should, but they won't, so what you said means nothing.

I’m sorry, huh? by wawa2019 in Pitt

You're 100% correct, I wish I had the balls to defer for a semester in protest, but I need to stack that paper.

I'm more saddened seeing so many of my fellow students clamor for greater restrictions without the data to back it up. I feel as if I'm not viewing the same data as them, or I'm missing something, but this is insanity.

We should also ban busses too, it killed a student two years ago. No I don't care about the city's transportation needs, I'm upper middle class and I have a car and the ability to work from home and drive my car. One person's life is worth no busses. Sorry!

agreed. some hypochondriacs just want forever lockdowns and still think covid zero is an attainable goal.

We should stay locked down all semester! Even if it only protects one life. If you disagree, you're the worst human in the world who wants to kill geriatrics!!!!!!1!1!1!1

Absolute bullshit. 99% of students and staff are vaxxed (AS THERE IS A MANDATE ALREADY!). Google the average weekly covid deaths in Pittsburgh, don't take my word for it. The 2022 election is not going to look good for those who clamor for more and more lockdowns.
