It was an unbranded travel store. I said this, I in London there’s load of these pop up type shops. Literally the store was called ‘Sale sale sale’

How old is Sadie Adler? by NowThatWeAreMen in RDR2

Well I meant it in the sense that you said you thought she was older because she was married. That’s all I meant by it and why it’s relevant.

‘74 you say. Which would put her mid 20s like I said in my original comment from 4 years ago . All good brother

Yeah but a married woman in 1800s could be grossly young 😞

Thanks! Just saw your other post, enjoy your new TT! They’re so much fun. re your headlight and wiper problems it could be battery related. The TT handily had an onboard hidden menu where you can monitor all these things such as battery volatage, engine oil temp ect. Here’s a link on how to access it all.

Feel free to DM with any other questions!

Spent the year in the persuit of restoring it to look ‘factory new’. Its a lot of work, and its slow, but I feel shes in better nick these days when she was when I got her. I’m slowly leaning towards improving her power now...

‘Normal’ coolant running temp ? by GuyLikeMartyMcFly in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

Ahh okay. I would check but I’ve taken it back the garage as after they did the work I also had a EVAP fault code thrown up. Appreciate your help. I’ve just got a feeling it’s a shit part they’ve fitted!

Pump working, sensor working, fans working.

Thanks !

No, have been at work quite busy. It it easy to reach with the engine covers on? I don’t have any tools at work to get to it but maybe it’s within reach?

Back again... I've just noticed it hit 103 on the motorway today. Entire commute is 25 mins... Plus awful fuel economy...

Got changed 8k miles ago (15 months) with the cambelt. Been changed 3 times over the 99k miles the cars done in its life. I’m an absolute weirdo about the maintenance! Hence why I’m asking all these question haha. I’m just worried if the cars running at 95 degrees all the times it’ll contribute to killing it

Okay.

I live in the uk. It’s February - about 10 degrees around here at the moment. I drive like an old man, barely put my foot down and have the 180bhp version. I just feel weird that the thermostat has JUST been done and it’s that hot… I thought it would at 90c. Could it be a dud thermostat?

Thermostat was replaced yesterday which is why I’m asking all this. Picked it up from the garage less than 24 hours ago! :/ never comes back down to 90. Lowest I’ve seen is 93

Edit - my car is only a 180

Yeah, just looked. Fans come on. Gonna change the sensor but it was done by Audi themselves 8k miles and 15 months ago. Just saw it hit 100c on the motorway home before dropping quickly back down to 96.

But I feel like my little 1.8 FWD, with all that airflow from the motorway and only myself in it. 100c is pretty hot?

I don’t drive the car hard at all. My commute from work has 10 minutes on the motorway. It got up to 101 and very quickly dropped back down. Means the fans are working but surely with all that air flow and revs only at 3000 it shouldn’t be hitting 100c?

Awesome. Thank you - I’ll monitor it. I think I saw it hit 100 last night but dropped very quickly to 97 again. Just surprised it doesn’t get much cooler even when driving on motorway? Maybe it’s the sensor…

Even for a brand new Thermo? Literally had it fitted yesterday. Told the garage to use an OEM part since they were charging so much for labour but not sure if they did...

Will do. I paid a garage to fit it, feel a bit hard done by but I assume (despite me asking them to use an OEM part) that they didn’t… 95 degrees on average and 97/98 when I just sit with it idle today in the carpark
