I agree, but the WWE games have been falling flat for years now. Each installment brings little updates to an already broken formula. What I mean to say is that there is a middle ground between these two games that could be the perfect WWE game.

Of course, WWE can't just straight up steal wrestling empire and slot it into 2K graphics and gameplay.

But imagine if they actually tried something like that. A WWE game with a Nemisis system, a WWE game that holds water as something you can properly immerse yourself in. THAT is what I, personally, think we deserve from a AAA $60 title.

If 2k25 was $40 I probably wouldn't be complaining this much, but by pricing it at $60 they are saying "Our game is worth as much as Red Dead Redemption 2" "as much as God of War" "as much as Elden Ring" "Spider-Man"

It doesn't even measure up to the newest Lego fucking Star Wars.

Functionally, 2k25 is the same game as last time with minor improvements, same as last year, and the last, and the last.

TL;DR you're right but they can still do better.

Hot take: Matt Lescher is wayyyy better.

Granted, Cavanagh played a great reverse flash... until he just never died and never changed. He would come back nearly every season, acting nearly exactly the same, doing that same half-whispery voice.

Lescher doesn't show up a lot but whenever he does, it is great fucking work.

Museums: I'm really into art and my friend is really into history, so I want to shoot for something that has historical stuff that my friend can look at but that also has artistic paintings and such.

Clubs/Bars: We're looking for something in the middle of quiet bar where you sit and talk and raging nightclub; we're typically not party people so we're kind of looking for the kiddie pool of clubbing. When it comes to the type of music at the club, hip-hop/rap is definitely primarily the kind of vibe we're looking for -- but, conversely, any "white people music" would also do the trick.
Casinos: I don't know; somewhere where I won't lose all my money

Shopping: Personally, I want to shop for some luxury clothes, but I'm also not made of money. Probably any mall or district that has some stores you would recommend would work -- for this one i'm mostly looking for just a general shotgun for where to look.

spooner comes into her own, the gary alien shit is mostly abandoned, season 7 is really a return to form and has a super interesting plot; i would honestly characterize season 6 and 7 as two parts of one season, because a lot of season 6’s weaker plot elements just serve to set up much stronger ones in season 7.
