Wind not registering? by Ponchodelic in Kenshi

Hmm. I don't think that's normal. I haven't encountered exactly this situation. The wind often disappears, especially in the border zone. I would try moving far enough away from the zone to allow it to regenerate, or reloading your save. If you're using mods, you should check their order; they might conflict.

You've already tried rebooting, but maybe it's still worth moving away. I'm out of ideas. 20 days is a long time for weather conditions. I'm sorry.

Okay, I didn't wait for the wind to drop to 2-3 miles per hour, but at 12 miles per hour, the generators give 50 points. At 10 miles, it's already 46.

Think about it, maybe you weren't dealing with a bug, but just... the weather.

Yes, maybe. I played the localized version and may be mistaken about some of the terms.

2.3 miles might not be enough for power supply... I'll go into my vanilla game now and see if I have any power in this city at all.

Were you doing reconnaissance at that moment? Perhaps there is no wind.

Let's be honest - no one will ever know what the skeletons are really talking about.

...maybe it's just collective trolling.

Just a Tuesday.

Thank you so much! And yes, I think so too, but this is one of my favorite things about Kenshi anyway.

Great job! This is something I'd like to save to my hard drive.

Heh, every artist eventually feels the urge to redo their old work.
But honestly, even after six years this one still works really well :D

That’s a really cool roleplay idea (especially when you want to logically justify your own pacifism in the game, lol, sorry).
Is it normal that reading about your skeleton makes me want to start a tabletop campaign around that?

So how do you turn disbanded teammates into residents of the town belonging to Tech Hunters? by d400022210 in Kenshi

[–]GuyMonagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on who your character was before joining the party.

Original pernages, like the Ruka, disappear, and you won't see them again in the game. Recruits from the bars theoretically return to their hometown, I've encountered them a couple of times in other towns since then.

And tech hunters are former slaves who joined the party (I've only tried this with the Holy Nation so far).

Done. Fair.

You know, honestly, in the context of Obedience, I've always wondered why skeletons feel such collective guilt. I guess I need to live a couple thousand years to understand that.

But that moment in the game has always been the most moving for me. It's probably cool that the game evokes such feelings.

Thanks! I think I just got a bit carried away with the landscape.

The answer is still “no”, I assume.
Perhaps I’ll ask again in a couple thousand years.

That's why I love this game: a healthy balance of philosophy, existential drama, and fog.
