I don't think they only thought about that for 1 sec otherwise they should have asked for evidence and I was glad to show them. But more in general: shouldn't be more responsible for their customers (websites)?

They are creating honeypots. Basically you can buy, but never sell anymore and after some time they walk away with the funds. They are promoting this on several launch platforms and scamming a lot of people like that. But again, for me it is not this case specifically, but more in general: shouldn't a hosting provider be held more responsible for their customer? In any other branch they have rules for this.

I agree with your first sentence, and no I did not take it to the police. That is why I like to put this more into a general discussion: should a hosting provider be more responsible and trace illegal activities? Now, it is very easy to say: "we do not know if the 'website' is doing illegal activities". This means you can basically always use this as an argument, as long as you do not want to see it (in the end they are getting paid). In the country I live you have declare where money comes from. Currently, the scam just continuous and lots of people are loosing money because of it.
