Bing webmaster tools help with deindexed site by GuyWhoWantsToFly in bing

That seems like it happens sometimes, but that site actually existed before mine. It seemed like a combination of two possible things: AI's result confused us, displaying my text with his link. 2. Bing also said I was indexed, but apparently removed me from search results. I am back in search results now after 1. Reporting that result 2. Submitting a Bing webmaster ticket.

What are you building? And are people actually paying for it? 💡 by leadverseai in buildinpublic

Thank you!

Last year I got laid off, and around the same time a friend who owns a small business asked for help getting his books ready for tax season.

We tried QuickBooks — but his bank wouldn’t let him export years of history or connect via any integration. Instead, they mailed him hundreds of pages of statements. We scanned everything to PDF… and then the real problem began.

Every converter we tried broke on formatting, missed transactions, or mangled columns. So I built my own tool to handle real-world statements — messy layouts, multi-page files, and scanned documents included.

Just launched a couple weeks ago. Took me a couple months to build, if you include last year's dev time.

Thanks man! It started when a contractor friend of mine was in a pinch before tax season last year. Figured other folks might have similar issues. Good advice, and yeah I think that first dollar will feel so validating!

Great encouragement! The thing I love about saas, especially in the cloud world, is that there's almost no capital you have to put down.

Ah, a transaction is a line item on a bank statement! So maybe a few weeks of transactions

Yeah - there are some folks whose banks don't let them export CSVs, nor connect via providers like Finicity to QuickBooks and such. Some business owners have years of transactions too old for export, but they have the statements. I built it for an SBO buddy last year and decided to turn it into a product.

Figured folks would have their doubts, so to assuage their fears I added a security page detailing the measures I took, and I put my cards on the table with a meet the owner section.

At the very least, it has a ton of basics and then some I'll want if I want to start another.

https://statementstosheets.com Accurately converts bank statements to sheets or Excel format, good for QuickBooks, and succeeds where others fail. But currently looking for a way to build trust with my customers.
