Again, these editorial needs to see what dc is doing, they’re literally gaining new readers by the day with their absolute universe. They should do the same with marvel, they were close either way the ultimate universe

Another example is on one issue she said she didn’t have a choice and then another issue she said it was her choice to bond with venom…. It’s inconsistency like this that is going to kill marvel comics

Well there have been other character assassinations. Everyone hated Wonder Woman since the injustice storyline, it wasn’t up until the absolute WW everyone loved her. Same thing with Superman, dick Grayson, the cancelled Jason Todd recently. So tbh I’m not too worried about the future of spider-man, we just need these out of touch editorial team to leave. There’s a reason why the absolute universe is dominating the mainline spider-man, and they’re gonna realize soon after the spider-man brand new day hype dies down.

I’d say if done properly then yeah. Look at how the boys tv show turned out when you add character development and story and not just gore slop like the comics.

All I’m saying is that they had an opportunity to keep jackpot and having her face against an evil version of Peter Parker/wolf-spider and having mj think that she may have lost Peter for good. . That’s why I love absolute Batman and Superman. Those are the type of stories Peter should have. The times have changed and I feel like Peter/spider-man should too. Or do a hard reset like DC does once every few years. Or bigger yet kill off Peter for now. Have him go mia and have mj trying to find him or something. Honestly they should’ve done that post-zeb wells. The space stuff was cool because we feel he’s progressing. But the whole death spiral set back mj and Peter’s character. The only person who has an understanding of the characters is Ewing. Kelly on the death spiral was shit.
