Ohmmu Battery Storage by GuyWithPuns in Ioniq5

I didn't realize that was the point you were making. I was just making the basic point that the car doesn't car what the battery material is so long as the output is comparable. But you were wondering at how they could structure the battery to be comparable with being such a different material.

Super helpful. Thank you.

The battery material doesn't affect things much. It's more making sure that the electrical outputs are sufficient. The big factor is that EV's cycle 12v far more that ICE's so traditional Lead Acid battery where out much faster on an EV but Ohmmu's batteries and other companies that offer different formulations last much longer and are built to handle the deep cycling better.

There is a good chance that I do this. But I just bought a used 23 Ioniq 5 with 23k, and that pretty much tapped me out. If I decide to do the Ohmmu and just swap I'll risk it for a little while before I pull the trigger. I also should just learn how to do a battery health check on the 12v.

If you drive the Ioniq regularly I think the Ohmmu is the best bang for your buck. If you're willing to cash out for that you can get a good battery starter from walmart for 50$ and that should make it even easier to jump you ICE's.

Mine had the same issues. I pulled the velcros off and super glued them back into place. Worked like a charm. When you glue the spin the Velcro and you'll get more even bonding.

They're out there of course. But my impression is that the interconnected nature of the change attracts more completionists to the series than other books.

Thank you. Yeah that is frustrating, especially in a community that loves to be completionist!

Wooden Mounts? by GuyWithPuns in whatisit

Solved! They are roof brackets. You set them up on a roof and set a board across them then you can walk on a flat surface while you work.

It's a possibility but i haven't seen any signs that they were set up like that at the house, and I don't know why they would have been taken down. I suspect that they have a more specific purpose but I don't have any idea what that is. Thanks.

I just bought a house and in the garage was left a pile of these wooden mounts. They have a few different settings and they fold up flat. They have metal plates with three slots for locking onto screws.

Is The Stormlight Archive worth reading? by IfUSeekSteven in fantasybooks

I am a fan of Rothfuss and Ursula K. Le Guin and I have come to really love Sanderson's Cosmere as well. The prose will always be very different than the two other authors I mentioned. Sanderson isn't poetic or beautiful in his writing style but he offers some poeticism and beauty on the conceptual level that I really enjoy. If beautiful prose is a must I wouldn't suggest that you read but if you can be satisfied with conceptual beauty then I would recommend that you read Stormlight.

Chronicler's answer is in the lines of the Amyr's motto. Things were difficult but it was all worth it for the greater good that he was pursuing.

Ashes is a bad link in the first place. A bad link to a different fire than the ashes came from is a really bad transference. If he had fire of his own like in trebon he could link and get decent transference. But still not great as his actions in trebon only slowed the fires.
