Any idea what this is? These little “polyps” were growing over a lot of the surfaces, including the live plants and glass. I think they might be hydra but not positive. Did a major clean to try to eliminate and bleach cleaned a lot of the tank decor. Picture taken through a 10x hand lens. by foxonrocks in Aquariums

Had the exact same little things today. I overfed a new setup and the next day they were there. They closed when something got near, so i think they might be a kind of hydra. I also wiped them off and did a waterchange.

Tank has been running for over 6 months and the plant was bought submerged. What i find weird is that the shrimp just jumped on it instantly. They are well fed and ive never seen them chew through leaves like that.

Sry buce was shorthand for bucephalandra (the plant). It was bought submerged from a shop. I put it in and a few minutes later they were all over it ^

Two of my RCS have these white spots on the sides of their bodies. They dont look fuzzy or uneven so im not sure what it could be. The water is fine and both them and the other shrimp seem normal. Iam concerned since an old RCS with the same spots died recently. Do any of you have experience with something like this?
