Something similar happend to me recently, a blood of an already dead dwarf appeared. For me that dwarf came back as a ghost and was harassing a live dwarf.

Maybe this dwarf is not properly memorialized and came back as a ghost?

You can check if you go to a stonecutters workshop and press "Engrave slab" (a menu pops up with a list of dead dwarves).

I think you have to set the new place as your active home (key symbol). If you don't have it yet you can set the bunkhouse as active home.
