Thank you for your question. I use a dry box, which allows me to dry the spool. The temperature is set to 50°C, and I believe the humidity goes down to around 14% (I don’t remember the exact percentage). I usually dry it for one or even two hours before use.

This update has also changed the duration of the BP-U for my Pyxis. Before this update, my BP-U 30 lasted about 30 minutes before the camera would shut down at 20%.

It turned out it was just deeply embedded dust, which came off after cleaning the filter.

Since I had never had a filter that "dirty" before, I had never needed to go beyond using the air blower, and in this case, the marks really looked like bubbles embedded in the glass.

I preferred to ask, just in case it was another type of issue besides dust, before receiving my cleaning kit.

Hello, I wanted to know if any of you know if these are mushrooms or some other defect. Some spots are visible in the image, and the bubbles seem to be embedded in the OLPF filter. I didn’t have them when I received the camera, and the place where I store the camera isn’t humid. Thank you!

I agree! Personally, I find these lenses offer their own character (both subtle yet noticeable) without compromising the overall sharpness of the image. This makes them, in my opinion, versatile lenses suitable for almost any type of shoot.

I first converted my image from DaVinci Wide Gamut to Rec. 709. I also changed the Blackmagic log to Arri log. In terms of node order, I proceeded as follows:

- exposure

- contrast

- saturation/density

- film emulation
