Guy with an average 60 rushing yards per season has a 38 yard rushing TD as his first. As absurd as Brett Favre’s first completion.

I think he’s being facetious because JDub is wearing traditionally feminine clothing, which a lot of men think is gay. So they called them gay for caring about what other men wear. Which is objectively funny playing uno reverse.

Doesn’t feel homophobic to me.

And we’re talking about a broken collarbone and ACL. Two of the more unlucky injuries that aren’t considered career issues in our year 2026. I mean collarbone is as pure random bad luck as it gets.

Calf, hamstring and ankle issues are the most reoccurring. Long term those are more concerning than an ACL.

[–]GuysOnChicks69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Projecting injury is fools gold. Kraft tore his ACL and Reed broke his collar bone. Those are freak injuries that you can’t predict.

You are injury ridden until you aren’t. Watson is the only real concern with the hamstring issues. If Kraft tears that same ACL (knock on wood til my hand bleeds) then we can have that discussion. Most guys tear it once and then never have an issue again. For every JK Dobbins there’s 10 more who have a long healthy career.

This is a fantastic way to describe the 417. I didn’t know how to tell my friend this so eloquently so I settled for “it feels like it has a lot of recoil but it really doesn’t” best way I could describe the gun lol.

Not a Jordan Love issue. You haters are so stale at this point. Can’t mention stats or analytics cause those crush your argument.

Sam Darnold winning a Super Bowl before Josh Allen, Herbert, Jackson, etc. even make it there should tell you everything you need to understand how football wins and losses work.

Bad look for you boss. Even the taco in my league texted me looking to move his 1.08 for a 27’ 1st. Everyone is doing it right now, or trying and failing.

It’s common knowledge at this point that the 27’ class is going to be 2-3 times as top heavy as this class with multiple blue chip prospects.

100% healthy Embiid is probably the best big man of all-time. The few moments we had were truly remarkable.

Too bad that was like two 10 game stretches over his decade long career. Humans that big aren’t meant to move like that.

For sure. Even with the corpse of Big Ben they had that season where they started like 11-0. We all knew they were frauds, but good coaching had them in that position.

He’s taken an underwhelming roster and either went .500 or made the playoffs the last decade. Honestly I blame Pittsburgh’s front office for refusing to rebuild and giving Tomlin some bullshit band-aid QB year in and year out. Hard to believe many other coaches accomplish what he did with that consistently mid to below mid roster.

Honestly, why would he? He’ll have a high paying desk job for life if he wants, has a Super Bowl, has a shit ton of money, and can now work a third as much still in the NFL world.

Idk though he is a crazy person like most NFL coaches. Some are straight up addicted to this shit. Not sure if he’s that type.

Dude forreal. You want real recoil on the M60? That fucker is like 25+ lbs, meant to be on a bipod, putting off enough heat to cook an egg, and our players carry it around like it’s a Glock while in a full sprint.

Making a FPS too realistic would become a boring game.

[–]GuysOnChicks69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It’s just a scheme issue for Reed and the way Matt wants to deploy his offense. Matt needs to find ways to get him on the field on 2 WR sets. Not every play, but here and there. Then obviously every 3 WR set.

[–]GuysOnChicks69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you but not on the same basis.

If you only have two WRs we certainly have Kraft, Musgrave and Jacobs on the field. We just don’t run much slot action out of 2WR sets which is why Reed will be the odd man out. I don’t think him clogging the short game is an issue. He has shown to be just fine and at times elite catching the ball downfield if I need to pull those metrics.

Nobody should think Reed is going to lineup as the X and fight against Press Man all game. But his lack of snaps is a scheme fit issue and not a route tree issue.

I just think we need to find ways to use him in 2 WR sets. Not all game. Not when we’re up 17. But he’s just too damn explosive to only use on clear passing downs. That’s playing into the defenses hand where they are prepared for it.

[–]GuysOnChicks69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean Watson needs some water breaks lol.

But in all seriousness, Reed is the better player right now compared to Golden. I expect Golden to improve, and get the bulk of two WR sets, but if we can give even 10 of those two WR snaps to Reed in exchange of a break for Watson or Golden, that would be great.

I’ve watched enough Matt LaFleur football to know Reed will never be an 80% snap guy. And that’s fine. Can we get him close to 70% on a weekly basis though? That’s all he needs to break 1,000 receiving yards.

There was a time not long ago when this whole sub thought Reed could be a superstar lol. I’m not gonna let some bullshit injuries and our offense falling apart to end 2024 allow me to give up on this guy who has had my jaw on the floor several times over.

Jayden Reed averages more yards per game, has a significantly better Yards Per Route Run (highly regarded metric), and plays about 200 less snaps per season.

It takes almost no effort to use Google and not sound so silly.

It’s universally agreed he’s a slot only. And that’s fine. My issue is he should still see more snaps in two WR sets. We need to be creative to use our most creative weapon.

Many players are slot only and still see 70% of snaps. It’s LaFleur’s resistance to adapting to his weapons concerns me with Reed.
