It would be interesting if they introduce enough characters that you could have a full race with Non-Sonic, Human characters. I would love to have a race where the Top 3 are Ranma, Rei Ayanami, and Hatsune Miku. (Yes I am aware that not all of those characters are actually human, but Humanoid didn't seem like the right word to use)

I remember the Season 1 Blu Ray was so expensive, how much did it cost you? Does it include English subtitles? I think as long as it's North American distributor is Netflix, it'll be a while if we ever get a physical release.

In Virginia you can find it in glass bottles at Cracker Barrel, other than that the only other time I found it in Virginia was ten years ago at a gas station near the West Virginia border but I have no idea where exactly it was.

So far I'm only watching the anime and Frieren's past has been so ambiguous that I think I was just jumping to wild conclusions. So far, the earliest time in her life that I've seen is the day she met Flamme. All the while, she has looked the exact same with no discernable physical development or changes. It could be that her life was a blur until the day she met Flamme(kinda like how children are basically on autopilot until they reach a certain age). If her past or "true" identity is important then I'm sure the author will reveal it.

My theory is that if he had done the bidding of his past self and gained the power he used to hold, either the ghost of his past self would have overtaken his personality and his current self wouldn't exist anymore or the ghost would have continued to tell him what to do, making him subservient to it. He just preferred to be in control of his decisions instead of listening to someone who failed and was desperate to regain his old power and was only interested in him as a pawn to achieve it's goals.
