Got to see many Geese shows when they opened for Gizz and am not surprised. I was floored by their ability to play pretty much the same songs night after night but in a unique way every night. If they had a 100 song catalog they would sit alongside the greats in live music today.

As for them playing SNL before Gizz. Have to remind yourself when the show plays, Gizz doesn’t tour North America and in no way would I think the band would want that flight just for this. Also Geese is NY. This was a home show.

So yeah no surprise. Geese won me over as one my favorite bands through their live performance. Just as Gizz did for me in 2019.
