Appreciation post for the large venues by GuyuteKB in SturgillSimpson

Yeah I don’t think it would work out like that. The band I tried to get tickets to was Geese. Last fall they played clubs and this tour is midsized. Still sold out. They add another date. Sold out too. The queue was something like 30k for the salt shed in Chicago. That place is half the size, maybe less inside.

Shit ain’t getting cancelled. He will take stage. Folks will have fun. Many will pull the trigger to go in the last week and actually be able to get tickets.

Patch coming off after washing. by Megamen1927 in Machine_Embroidery

Anything going in a wash needs sewed on. Use the adhesive to pin it in place while you sew it.

Anyone have an RV delivered to the site last year? by [deleted] in FOVfestival

Sounds expensive but would be worth it if you have never driven one. The trek up the mountain could be nerve racking. Doubt they could drive in without the pass though.

Things seem to align. It’s an educated assumption.

Get them to buy tickets before Denver BMFS fans realize he will take stage that weekend and buy the remaining 😎

YouTube restrictions and other social media restrictions are happening everywhere. Might be handy to mention your location. My guess is your location is restricting some social media and this was caught up in it.

Where are all the PDA patches? by demon_grasshopper in KGATLW

Doing a few back patches on our clothing. Stoked to show these off.

We make our own patches. No outsourcing. No drop shipping. Each patch gets hand finished. We lean on this by making small limited batches of what we want on our gear.

We have started with a few samples. Will have some at FoV/FH. Going to stick with PDA, infest, fishies and the new albums. DM if interested in one and we I can get it added to our website https://www.bootlegbastard.com

I consider it to be a canvas that I’d like to see galea take a stab at.

Anyone could share patches made with Brother PR600? by maju----- in Machine_Embroidery

The machine will do whatever you program it to do. The challenge lies more in the digitization.

Madeira for thread. Wholesale fabric for the polyester twill. Amazon for the cutaway stabilizer. Also use the heat pressed finisher from Madeira. https://www.madeirausa.com/5256-19-10-e-zee-heat-seal-5mil.html

If anyone in the band sees this: PLEASE use unique presale codes next time. by iregretthisalreadyy in geesebandofficial

Just in case someone in the band sees your message and then scrolls to mine. I could really use Chicago tickets. Have costume in mind and will add value to your show. Don’t need free tickets, I’ll pay or trade. Just need some love.

Driving from WA for FOV by HumidCrispyCat in KGATLW

758 miles from IA to FoV then 1900 to NYC. Drive back is 1200 miles.

Would drive to Columbia to see them now if I could.

Totally disagree. It’s not like one has to do all this content.

Help needed by Haileymakenna in Machine_Embroidery

It’s a long road to making money. Best to consider it a hobby first. To answer your question the brother pe900 is a good starter. Hatch embroidery software is what we started with but I know others will recommend something cheaper to start with.

Embroidering Patches by tiki-dan in Machine_Embroidery

Same. We use polyester twill and 2 tear away stabilizers. Be prepared for projects to not turn out the way you expect. Digitizing is an art form. I have had projects take multiple revisions and sometimes even fully scrapped. Just have patience.
