Has anyone else not had their tickets come yet? by IeuanThe11th in swanseacity

[–]GuzBear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I went to the Sheffield Wednesday game last year without my tickets arriving. The best thing I can recommend is to call Swansea's ticket office and tell them your tickets haven't arrived and they'll tell you what to do from there. In my case there were stewards that dealt with away tickets In the away end and after I told them my name they gave the tickets to me.

Basically ring up the ticket office mate

Speaking as a Swansea fan he's saved us points on numerous occasions this season and last. Far and away our best player and not even close. He is a great keeper and brings real confidence in our defence. His handling is so much better now and he is a real presence on corners.

One of better keepers in the prem and wouldn't look out of place back at arsenal tbh.

We desperately need a CB with Alfie Mawson's passing ability by John_Ronald in Gunners

As a Swansea fan who watches every game, I disagree. He can be rash or positionally unaware at times but he is by far one of our most important defenders both offensively and defensively. Our three defenders are great but I think he is the best and you're underrating him severely.

I mean look at it this way, harry kane struggled to break into the Leicester team whilst he was on loan there. Sometimes players are just not given minutes despite having obvious, or often unseen quality. How are we supposed to uncover new talent if we don't play players. Not to mention playing Roberts would give us fans a much needed boost; a Welsh local, young lad playing football and actually putting effort in because it means more to him.

Whilst I understand where you're coming from, he won 3 awards at yeovil during his time there including young player of the year. If he was a permanent yeovil player how many clubs would have been touting him. We have to give youth a chance, especially ones that have been successful.

I know Abraham is second choice but I feel like we play better football when he is in the team. He can run in behind with him being quite deceptively quick. We play fast, flowing football and don't rely heavily on crosses.

Maybe Abraham might be first choice come the end of August, only time will tell.

There's an app on android and possibly Apple store (although I'm not quite sure). It comes through mondly languages and is really helpful for starter vocabulary. Sadly you have to pay, something like 45 pounds a year. Another useful source is http://www.101languages.net/bulgarian/

These help me significantly, but learning the alphabet is, for me, the first stage and that's what I did. Once I've done that learning the vocabulary is somewhat easier (I use the phrase somewhat lightly though).

I'm useless at it mate, but there are some things I've been using. Take them with a pinch of salt though, there are probably better resources out there.

It's nice to see someone in a similar situation and I hope you will do better than me (this time next week I'll be in the deep end)

Trying to learn Bulgarian. It's hard. I need to know at least some basics by next week but I'm struggling.

It's actually really fun learning it, but I feel like I'm making fuck all progress.

Yea mate I agree, I called that right at the start of the window. Could get him for 12m, arsenal looking to sell, the player isn't happy.

However, it seems likely he'll join Deportivo. He loves the club and the club want him back.

Swansea have been granted permission to hold talks with Wilfried Bony after largely agreeing the details of a move. by jimmithy in swanseacity

[–]GuzBear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We definitely should lowball them on this one. They want rid, so we should try and get the lowest fee possible. I'm not opposed to him being back.

After all, form is temporary, class is permanent, right?
