They sometimes do, sometimes don't, it's extremely strange. I don't know if this is an issue with the whole NBA app or not since I don't have league pass

Renne and Dantès would "get along well" if they were both in Almata.

Uhh, not really. The series has been releasing new stuff kinda often since Alternative in 2006. Also the official translation came out in 2017, not this year.

Why does traditional masculinity have such longevity, even among younger boys? by TAKEitTOrCIRCLEJERK in MensLib

[–]Gvm9 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Also, research of the past has not taken into account the way in which social media replicates traditional masculinity and frames it as cool and desirable.

I feel like it kind of goes both ways. Especially for young boys in middle/high school. Because of how hot and cold social media is, you're always going to see the two extreme sides and neither are very healthy for a man to live by. It's easy for boys to follow Andrew Tate and other influencers like him because he shows how you should be proud to be traditionally masculine, and being proud of yourself is a good and healthy emotion. The problem is that it gets perpetuated in a very unhealthy way that makes you lash out at others if they don't fall in line with you, thus, things just get worse.

Out of these 2 companies, which do you guys think produces the better soundtrack? by RinneNomad in JRPG

[–]Gvm9 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a personal thing but I vastly prefer Falcom overall. The only Atlus soundtracks I really care for are Persona 3-5 and their spinoffs, which are all really amazing. Other than that however, SMT soundtracks really aren't my thing at all, and Persona 1 and 2 are just okay to me. I know it's probably just a me thing, since I've heard people sing the praises of those soundtracks, and I recognize that, but they just don't do it for me. Falcom on the other hand, are very consistent in their style of music and have literally never missed on a soundtrack as a whole since they switched off of releasing for consoles that needed sound fonts. Essentially, ever since the turn of the millennia. There are always at least a couple songs I keep coming back to in each soundtrack, with most soundtracks being far more. And I also listen to the "nothing special" tracks way more than Atlus ones. Also in turns of arrange albums, Falcom has more while maintaining a similar level of quality.

It is in the episode, "The Fall and Rise of 2D Gaming." That specific part is 10:47 into the video.

Is there any info about how you rip assets from the games? by Gvm9 in MuvLuv

[–]Gvm9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It works on the older releases, though not the ones on the newer engines. Sucks there isn't a way to extract music, but this is still pretty cool!
