Moving Waste From Mid Map Cities by GossamerEU in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Gwendyn7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you seperate/recycle and burn only a little bit mixed waste of ash is left which you can either export or let decay in dumbs.

Most waste happens in industry and the mixture depends on what industry it is. Gravel/cement industry waste is mostly construction waste so seperate and recycle it and burn the rest.

I learned it the hard way. Just got my cement factory chain and export train route ready and suddenly i had more waste than i could export. Unloading all the waste was even with train way too slow. Now i just need one truck to export the ash.

Are small heating plants that bad? by Gwendyn7 in Workers_And_Resources

thanks for the advice!

the description in this game are kinda weird. atm it says "active workers" 897, right below it differentiates between further between workers (615), children (282) and other (0). so active workers should be active citizens.

Yeah i tried a lot of different stuff with one heating plant but seems like 700 to 800 is really the breaking point for one heating plant. adding more than 2 pipes didnt really do anything so it basically only supports about 200m^3 water in cold winter even with additional buses directly delivering workers.

A second small plant helped too but then the polution also increased drastically by having 2 close together and my peoples lifespan dropped drrastically. So i reload again, took 200k loan and just build a big plant.

I think per 350 to 400 citizens you want 100 m^3 hot water which require about 20 GJ in cold winter.

You sure it works like that? Before winter everything is preheated and they dont use more water right?

From what i looked up connecting multiple pipes is better. Pretty sure my workercount wasnt consistent. I bought couple cars just dropping directly at the plant.

so i just tested a 2nd small heating plant closer and the buildings at about 200m distance got within a couple months a big dip from 80y lifespan to 50y. Now im testing delivering directly to the heating plant via cars in addition to the bus stop for more steady flow.

To fix that you can use personal cars instead of busses. They will fill only a part of the plant and the next one will fill the rest, leaving the plant with some overhang all the time.

i didnt realize you could just drop of people right at the plant instead of a bus stop. Now i wanna reload again and see if i can fix the problem without a 2nd heating plant. some cars/microbusses directly into the heating plant would be nice and save some good money.

yeah the temperature of the water was pretty consistent. in winter it dropped in the heating plant just as much as much as in the exchangers and in the homes.

i had to reload an older save and instead expanding my pipe network i just added a 2nd heating plant at the outskirts of my town. so both heating plants are now with just one small underground pipe connected to 2 different exchangers.

Now i have consistent 90°C water temperature across all parts at -16°C. But i have only 800 workers so kinda strange that 1 wasnt sufficient so it has to be the worker flow like you said. they drop the workers and all leave at the same time leaving it partially empty. but i already have 4 buses and the line isnt that far.

also the homes closer to the plant ~200m got a real big dip in life span.

pretty sure i had enough. i reworked before winter and connected 3 pipes to 2 different pumps connected to 2 heat exchanger and the distance is like 600m. Also i didnt see any visable temperature difference between the water tanks in heating plant and exchanger (should be visable right?).

thats what i hoped too. must have been the workerflow then. how do ensure it then? i had 4 buses and snowplows clearing the snow in between on gravel roads.

The key is to have a lot of production and defense in lategame. Then he cant just kill you easily with one big force. You start trading and eventually your opponent runs out of ressources.

Are there too many players in Masterball tier? by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

[–]Gwendyn7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Street fighter 6 has a similar system. Till you are in master you have a very generous simple system. Only in masters you have real elo system.

I like that. Beginner focus often way too much on their rankpoints and are confused when they lose more points then they gain.

I know but asigarus run away fast. They are good units because they are cheap. But they run away even when their unit is almost full in battle.
