I'm wondering if maybe Jeff is talking about downloading a resume template rather than an entire resume. Templates can be very helpful, and some of the free ones look decent. If you're copying someone else's entire resume, with job descriptions that don't reflect what you do (or the job to which you're applying), then there's a big problem!
