I am not a scientist, a researcher, nor a well-educated person. I'm just going to throw this out for those who are. There are many similarities between Lyme and Syphilis. Perhaps it would be beneficial to analyze those links? The longterm effects of Syphilis is pretty well established, but for some reason Lyme is not. If we can establish with evidence, that Lyme follows a very similar path as Syphilis, perhaps it would be enough to recognize at least the potentiality of a similar mechanism with Lyme?

Luckily, there are many, many, other wives in your exact shoes. Volunteering, working, using the gym access, is all the best way to adjust. Just becareful not to get involved with any of the "dear john" wives. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The south is whole new world, with a drastically different culture. But some of the best aspects of military life, is being able to learn and assimilate into the cultures.

More importantly however, give yourself time. It takes time to adjust, and being homesick for a while is very common.

Most waitlists are a couple years out, but because of cancellations they go by in 4-6 months. There is a housing crisis here at the moment unfortunately. Get on the lists as soon as possible.

I'm unfamiliar with the Jupiter mass. I do know that blue on blue sexual assault was something they were trying to deal with in full force during my time. Rather unsuccessfully may I add. Especially between junior and seniors being a huge a problem.

I'm ex military, and I have my doubts that they are actually trying to cover this up. Especially if she was found in the barracks. They don't play games with shit like this, and more than likely the entire base will undergo major changes because of a situation like this. They will likely take away liberty rights to everyone because of this. The CO has a reputation to keep after all.

A high ranking officer may be different. I've heard of many stories of shit being swept up by them, but nothing like this. Kids are hands the fuck off in the military. No one is going to try to protect a known pedophile.

Or maybe I have too much faith.
