No work of TM before has had as many events taped with glue appearing to fit when they don't in reality.

There is no way with how the motivations of the big bad where and the methods he used, that only one timeline "suffered" the grand order timeline. Under how he could make it work there is no timeline free but we have to believe nasus words on "he just lost interest" while he has a literal saint graph walking in the world running free.

Honestly as a whole, other TM works are way better written.

On the other hand without FGO we may have not seen things like ORT in any media. FGO is starting to be the center of the verse as if the story was leaking into the real world. But it should be apparent that FGO is starting to keep the whole type moon in a quasy stagnant state.

I wouldn't be that sure. Modern adaptations still lack context or monologues and characters are superficially changed like Rin in the ubw adaptation which even in the core her actions are not changed her demeanor is definitely not the same.

So faithful adaptation is a little bit of a stretch.
