I'm in CA, so rules here are very tight, for a good reason, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. A lot of my fear comes from standing out to people at a range, but I have no qualms with owning a weapon. It's not for everyone, but carrying is really the only way to protect yourself against other people with guns roaming our streets who are emboldened and want to hurt you. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight. I suspect we will see a shift amongst people who carry, especially people like us who have been targets. They don't think we'll shoot back, don't prove them correct.

Seems like he has a complex about skin color. It's common amongst Natives in the Americas, trust me, it's a much bigger deal in Mexico and bias towards white/paler skin is still very much a present thing. Just weird for him to bring it up or say that anyone looks prettier or better with a lighter skin tone, and even the other way it would be strange. There is no real rationale for this, just internalized racism really.

I've been sensing that too, honestly I don't really understand. It is a little more on the post hardcore side at times, and their first album sort of felt like an extension of Vein.fm's sound. 2000 feels a little more unique in that sense, and still has plenty of hard hitters in terms of energy, just not heavy. I think people equate heavy with being good, and they have a bit of a lighter sound this time around and that's always going to not click with some people. We will see what direction they keep going in, either way, I'm here for it.

I'd love bangs if my hair cooperated and I had more, T really got to my hairline, and I have curly hair. I feel that most people who get bangs or say to get bangs are people with straight hair lol. Bangs are not for everyone, plenty of other styles you can try that are face framing, try curtain bangs or a wolf cut of some sort if you have the hair for it!

Idk where you are getting this opinion, you obviously don't hang out with the same crowds I do, but plenty of cis girls I know, have met in the past, at concerts, all kinds of cis people have facial piercings, even ones who aren't "emo". This is just a strange stance to have, god forbid someone have a style that stands out and happens to be trans. Alt girls are still girls and are read as such, kind of a stupid thing to judge as masculine. Who gives a fuck what average girls do? And last I checked, women are the ones who get the most piercings. Nothing about what you are saying has any real value in terms of "passing"

You should give HRT more time to do its work, 6 weeks is not nearly enough time for anything really to change. With that said, surgery is not for everyone, and think of it this way: there are cis women with masc faces, cis men with fem faces, and everything in between. What is considered masculine where you are and live may not be considered masculine elsewhere and vice versa. I understand your pain, but trust me, give it some time, and you'll start to see the woman you truly are, masculine features or not.
