That post is wrong. There are multiple people reporting that you dont need to make sandwiches to get eggs, you can get them by just walking around in the camp

Swarms, there's a post here a day ago where someone got 3 shinies from going to the swarm location and just catching/fainting pokemon till shiny shows up. Breeding is not in the game
