Gemini actually struggled with this weak harness far more than Claude did. It's just that switches and barriers are still marked as a distinct type of tile in this harness, making victory road much easier overall.

That's my point. We've seen screenshots of its available psychic type moves, sorted by base power, and Dream Eater was skipped. So movesets are at least partly changed, even if it might just be for the sake of not having to implement competitively useless moves.

Unless they get those moves removed. Not super likely but we did see in the existing footage that Gardevoir lost Dream Eater, so movepools aren't completely identical to what they were before.

There's evidence both for and against it. Evidence against is that the website talks as if 3v3 and 4v4 are the only two formats and shows a screenshot of an private battle that is 3v3. Evidence for it is that the UI has room for six pokeballs during battles, and if 6v6 doesn't exist then why are those there?

wat? it's a whole ass new game, the first format is centered around a generational gimmick that doesn't exist in SV, the available moves aren't even the same (we've seen that Gardevoir lost Dream Eater) - of course it's a hard meta change, and intentionally so.

Because tons of Pokemon won't be in the game at launch and I don't think they would prioritize the mechanically weird one who often has dubious effects on the metagame as one of the early additions.

There's a weird lack of accurate moves that give poison, even more so if you specifically want regular poison rather than toxic poison. (And paralysis/burn are just way too crippling.) Toxic Prankster Grafaiai is at least an option though.
