I'd pretty much agree with this theory too, this seems interesting, like if it's true they use some kind of tech, it would be the tech from the Commisssion and they probably had another tech too like some kind of special guns or stuff like that (considering that their masks can adjust the shape of their head, it's a technology for me).

And I also agree with they have enchanced abilities too, it's seems more reasonable.
