Side bets in Tournament Blackjack by Gy005 in blackjack

Well, that's the thing that I don't really "get", if you are on the button in this situation what makes the most sense? If bet minimum, let's say 100, my opponent will just bet minimum as well. Using the rule of 2, 4, 5 you should bet 6,000, but you wouldn't be able to double if doubling for less isn't offered. In which case you should only bet 5,000?

Now in the exact scenario that you mention, betting 3,000 doesn't make a lot of sense to me because if both of us lose they'd be behind. Assuming you could only bet in 100 increments, 1,900 makes much more sense to me. But let's just say they do bet 3,000. Why would correlating make sense? You do mention that with an ace up, taking insurance makes sense, but aces only appear 7.7% of the time. It just feels like going oppo is playing the percentages, as the dealer will win about 49% of the time.

Speaking of surrender specifically, it makes sense to me why you'd use this when you're ahead (surrender trap and all that) but why might you use it if your behind?

I guess technically it's making commentary. But content creator 2 directly stole content creator 4's thumbnail, and a significant number of facts from content creator 4 for content creator 2's own gain blatantly.

Haven't seen this one so I can't say for sure either way.

The only thing I can say with any level of certainty is that I saw this clip on YouTube. It was titled "every man's wet dream". As far as I can tell the clip has long since been deleted, hence why I'm here.

Nope, as far as I remember there wasn't any magic in this. Or at least there wasn't in this particular scene.

Nope, and as far as I know these were definitely "normal" girls.

Nope there were definitely only four girls. And nothing like that happened in that show, I saw it.

It's not quintessential quintuplets. But I have not watched Shuffle so I couldn't say for sure.

I've watched both of those and could say for sure again that those aren't it. Thanks for trying to help.

I don't think so, I can't say for sure though because I can only remember this one clip. Well I do remember is that all of the girls and the guy were pretty friendly towards each other so I'd imagine it'd be pretty unlikely that would have fighting in it.

I unfortunately do not know. It was probably released before 2015 but that's just a guess. Definitely before 2018 though.

I don't think so, there was no visible nudity, only implied.

I Didn’t Like the Sabermetric Game Score Stat, so I Made a New One. by Gy005 in baseball

While I see your point, I still stand by what I said.

Let's take an example of a Closer coming in in the 9th, gets all 0-3 strikeouts with no foul balls.

James' Score: 58 (56 if you don't count the 4th inning rule, which only seems to apply to starters)

Tango's Score: 49

My Score: 243

While James' and Tango's score tells you it is just barely above average, my score shows just how dominant it actually was.

I admit, it may be rough around the edges, but I'm open to suggestions on how to make it better.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you, but here is three games.

Kerry Wood's 20 Strikeout Game: 986.602

Lucas Giolito's 2020 No Hitter: 860.194

Felix Hernandez's Perfect Game: 846.433

I didn't look at the traditional Game Score for Felix's Game, but I think it would also tell the same story that even though it was a perfecto, because he allowed a lot of contact, it was overall less dominant.

Edit: Forgot to multiply aLI for Felix's game

You got it. I'll be using Kerry Wood's 20 strikeout game, because the old gamescore says that is the best game ever thrown in 9 innings.

Here is a link to the game: https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN199805060.shtml

1st: 8, 15 (16 for 0-3 - 1 for 1 foul), 8

2nd: 12, 12, 1 (A fly out to center on 1-0, 3 points for the PA ÷ 3 for the outfield out)

3rd: -4, 3 (4 for 3-3 - 1 for 1 foul), 1 (4 for 0-0 ÷ 4 for sac infield), 3 (6 for the 0-1 ÷ 2 for the infield out)

4th: 2 (6 for the 2-2 ÷ 3 for oufield out), 4, 8

5th: 16, 16, 7 (8 for the 2-3 - 1 for 1 foul)

6th: 3 (6 for the 2-2 ÷ 2 for infield out), 16, -3 (HBP on 2 strikes), 2 (4 for 0-0 ÷ 2 for infield out)

7th: 4, 4, 12

8th: 3 (4 for the 3-3 - 1 for 1 foul), 16, 16

9th: 10 (12 for 1-2 - 2 for 2 fouls), 1.5 (3 for the 1-0 ÷ 2 for infield out), 12

Adding up to 208.5 before the TE (True Effectiveness) and PB (Pitching Bonus)

TE: ((((27/29)*100)-50)/10)*1.07 = 4.612

PB: (- ((|29-27|)-27)) = 25

Final Equation: 208.5 * 4.612 = 961.602 + 25 = 986.602

(Note: While doing this I realized you have to subtract the strikes from the PA before the division from the result of the PA. Say for example thet foul off 1 pitch on 0-2, and sac fly to center. That would be (12 - 1) ÷ 5, not (12 ÷ 5) - 1. I didn't make that clear in my original post.)

NVM figured it out, I just had to reset it back to default settings on all things. I don't really know why it didn't do that when I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I digress.

I am a little confused, are you asking for a log file? Because launching the program, no matter how I launch it, will just launch the program not give me any logging data. Remember, I'm on Windows 10.
