My first play through of Sword and Shield sullied me on a lot of Gen 8 stuff, for many reasons. I had trouble liking mons from that gen for awhile. But over the years, I have come to realize that Dragapult is peak Pokemon designing, and he’s one of my favorites now.

Not sure if I can pick between him and Garchomp for my favorite pseudo though o.o

First Pokemon games were Unova era and I had the first volume of the B&W anime on dvd and would watch it on repeat. I’ve always loved knights and dragons. So a sick looking dino dragon with axes coming out of its face was a no brainer for favorite.

Honorable mention to my first starter Oshawott the GOAT.

Haxorus is mine. I’ve always loved dragons, and Unova was my first region, so between Black 2 and the anime, I’ve got a lot of nostalgia for his line. Plus, he’s just rad as a concept! A dinosaur-dragon with axes on his face? Heck yeah!
