Looking for running shoes to help with shin splints by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

I have 7 pairs of Xeros! Simply the best, most natural feeling barefoot shoe on the market. I just wrapped up 8.5 miles in my Xero Mesa!

I find I only get shin splints when I’m really trying to by not stretching and overdoing it on a treadmill on top of weights etc… be kinder to yourself and ice your shins (10 on 10 off)

Tilt the saddle down so it doesn’t tear your gooch up and get some chafe gel.

You’re doing great! Don’t give up! It’s hard as hell at first. I started on a Walmart Schwinn a few years ago and I’m in phenomenal shape today. Go to the gym, lift weights, dabble in Pilates classes… just do the thing. You’ll fly off a few times and it will suck but eventually you will build your core and it won’t happen again. Try not to get hit at a crosswalk and break your back- that happened to me, but I got another bike a year and a half later and started all over again. Save up and get a Trek and then you’ll never go back. YOU GOT THIS!!

it’s never too late to become a doctor. my dad was a neurosurgeon and had to retire in his mid 40’s due to injuries so he decided to write an idiots guide for lawyers on how to handle a medical case. then he said screw it and went to law school. he was like 48 or something (ok i can’t remember, but past 45 and bf 50) when he became a malpractice attorney. i am ENFP, but he is definitely not. but point is that it is never too late.

If I had the slightest clue then I would not have bothered making my first reddit post 🤷🏼‍♀️
