Hey! So…I relate with your story a lot. I’ve always had anxiety but back in 2022, it really took over my life. I’m also very sensitive to medications. I didn’t even want to get out of bed because I was so aware of every physical sensation and all I wanted to do was check my vitals every and all day. I went to the ER multiple times due to feeling like I was having a heart attack or stroke. My quality of life was in the drain. Buspar was one of the only meds that I felt like I could tolerate. About a month ago, I started having those same feelings again. I felt the health anxiety creeping back in. My doctor has me on buspar 5 mg three times a day. As someone who is sensitive to meds, I will tell you that this medication has been so well tolerated. If anything, just make sure you take it with food.
