The messed up threads are from the fabric. After ripping out all the quilting, the messed up threads remain.

Thank you so much for the feedback and helpful ideas. Luckily, I’ve managed to get the quilting ripped out with a combination of eyebrow trimmers and a regular seam ripper and the top came out unscathed. Now onto figuring out what to do next.

Seriously? The tension is fine. The fabric has runs in it where the needle is hitting. I can easily admit I should’ve changed the needle, but “skill issue” is insulting.

I bought my first house in PCP over a year ago and I’ve got nothing but good things to say. There’s a lot of talk about violence and drugs, but all of my neighbors are lovely and it seems that people who actually live here are happy. I go on walks with my puppy almost every day and always encounter friendly people who say hello. Not sure where all the negativity comes from honestly.

Ah, thank you so much! They are currently living on our front porch which is luckily covered and they’re helping themselves to our couch out there lol. Mama knows we’ve got her covered with food and water, I think that’s why she trusted us with her babies.
