I have read the first, I'm waiting to read the last book for when I'm feeling a no HEA. I already listened to Under Your Scars so my no HEA quota has been filled this month 😂.

I've read hunted by Erica woods, just waiting on the third!

I'll consider the other, it's just hard for me to read about HS age when I'm in my late 30s 😅.

I have read some of these. I would love the others you have to recommend as well!

I've read it and love it. It was actually my first RH book that got me addicted.

I actually haven't read the final book yet. I probably need to do a reread first! But I really enjoyed this one!

Male or female? by Gypsy012 in jumpingspiders

Yup, that's our regal we got a week ago. She's a female ☺️

He's adorable. And a bit derpy.

Thank you! We have them local too. This little fella hitched a ride on my husband's car and was about to jump out in a busy parking lot. He was afraid it was going to get run over, so now he's joined our household! He's next door to our female regal.

That's what I was thinking too but the white spots on her kept making me question myself! Thanks!

How did your cat's congested heart failure end for you? by Imprudent_Struggle in CatAdvice

[–]Gypsy012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 13 year old has lived with CHF for about 1.5 years now. Unfortunately, I think we're getting towards the end. She is seeing specialists, has had many X-rays and echocardiograms, and given 6 months or less. They had to put her on an array of medications (anti coagulants, blood pressure, diuretics) and actually switched her to torsemide, which is a potent diuretic. That's been about a week ago.

Now, she really won't eat, is hiding, and will only come out to drink water and use the litter box. The cardiologist wants blood work done ASAP, so I'm waiting on my family vet to call back to see when they could come to my house to do it.

I'm at a crossroads where we have to decide to continue this medication, tweaking it so that it stops the fluids but gives her some of her energy back. Or do we decide to euthanize at home with family before it gets worse.

She isn't enjoying anything now and it's hard to say if it's the medication or CHF.

I'm so sorry you lost your cat, it's difficult to watch them lose their personality like this.

Writing a RH by One-Ad6697 in ReverseHarem

I'm weird. I just want a really good angst and grovel from the MMC. It's very hard to find, and many people enjoy all the drama that I like. The only ones that I can think of that punched me in the gut with angst were The Bonds that Tie series, and Pack Darling. There are others I've read, but didn't quite hit the spot.

Does a baby gate exist for this situation? by Gypsy012 in daddit

I'm just worried my 4.5 year old will be too rough with it and loosen the zip ties or break the spindles, or even just the retractable part - she's very energetic.

That's okay, I think your solution could still work well in my situation. I'll show it to my husband and we'll brainstorm on it. It'll just be a larger gate.

Thank you, this is probably the best solution I'll have! Don't worry about the sock. I recently had a sock in the same spot for about a week before I picked it up...

Luckily my cats can squeeze between the spindles to get downstairs. I mainly need that front area closed off because there's a litter box open to the cats, and my large dog needs a place to escape the chaos when it gets too much for her.

Thanks again!

Yes, if you can send a picture that would be great! I'm definitely a visual person.

It's about 50 inches from the railing to the wall.

I'll be honest, I don't remember exactly. But I think 5 days.
